PJ was taking a walk in the park today, a sad look on his face and a cigarette in his hand. He spots -V- sitting on the park bench over looking the lake, it was just like -V-. Never late for a meeting with me, ever. Maybe he knows PJ gets easily agitated by tardiness. Who knew? PJ takes a seat next to -V-, doesn't look at him, just sits.

Hiya -V-. How're you doing today? Good I hope.

Listen, I come here with good news and bad news. How cliche. Anyway, on to the bad news first. I always thought the good news softened the blow after the bad news.

I guess you've noticed over the past couple of weeks that Philadelphia Boss Pip has been quite absent of late. You should do, he was your boss. Anyway, he's been terribly ill. He won't tell you himself, you know what he's like. To proud for his own good that man. But I admire it. Pixxie has been doing an excellent job in his stead but enough is enough. He is stepping down my friend. Unfortunately of course. His health is deteriorating to such an extent that he can not successfully run a family anymore. Sad news, I know.

Anyway, -V-. The good news is that Godmother ScipitaRourke has sent me here today to promote you. To take effect immediately. You're now a Philadelphia Boss -V-. What you have worked so damn hard for. You also now have the authority to auth your own Capodecina. This is a great honour bestowed apon you -V-. Do your Godmother and I proud. It's a long time coming, you outshone all others for this promotion my friend. I know you will do your best.

Right then, I better be moving on. I'm sure the feds and any other eavesdroppers out there have heard enough. See that white telecomms van over there? I'm sure it's following me.

Anything you want to say before I get back to Philadelphia business?

V stands up, new Boss of Philadelphia. He shakes Poisonous Jellys hand vigorously before turning to the white van, waving his hand and bowing, flashing his revolver at them

Thank you Jelly. I would like to thank Pip when we catch up, as I have said before he is the reason I am where I am today. He is a fantastic leader, and it is very very unfortunate that these circumstances have arrived. Pip is a very honourable man, and an asset to this thing of ours.

V nods at Pixxie as she arrives at the precise time that Jelly stated. She stands by V's side.

And my first act as a new Boss of Philadelphia is to promote Pixxie as my Capo Decina. She has been an asset to Pip, and myself when I worked under Pip. She is a hard working and loyal Mafiosa. She has earned this opportunity many many times over, and I am sure will do our city proud. So, with the Godmothers and your own blessing - You have yourself a new Capo Decina.

First of all I would like to thank -V- for this opportunity and for Godmother Scipita and Poisonous Jelly for backing me in this time. Being apart of Philly has been an amazing time and I'm glad I have been chosen to help this wonderful citys progress.

I would also like to thank my former boss and Don, Pip. Without his guidence and undestanding I wouldn't be were I am today. Even though he has taken ill and has to step down, I will always remember him for who he was, and I will take whaat he has taught me and pass it down through my own family.

I plan on doing my family and Philly proud, and I won't let it down.

Rory Applauds and nods his head. Although a very sad occasion, it was also one of great joy.

"Congratulations to both of you, It makes me extremely proud to see both acheiving great things in this world. But on a sadder note I am sad to see Pip step down. He's been a great inspiration to me in my life. He took me in on my arrival at these shores, he moulded me and helped me. I was recently promoted to his LHM and i must say it has been an absolute honour to serve by your side Don Pip. I hope you one day are healthy enough to return to leadership. I wish you all the best."

I have been thinking at great lengths and have come to a decision that I will be standing down a Boss of Philly.

This was not an easy decision to make, and one which I am regretfully making i'm sorry to say, due to personal issues.


I would like to take this opportunity to say a few words and thank a few people.

- First to Godmother ScipitaRourke, basically for everything, since i was born and growing up, you were always there for me helping and teaching me everything i now know. I am sorry to be stepping down and letting you down,  but  you know and understand my reasons for this decision.

- The late Jono and his son PJ, we have had many great adventures together, and i hope this continues when i step down and join the family. Thanks for all your help along the way.

- Pixxie, you have been a gem to the family, a solid and loyal member, who then turned into a reliable and honorable hard working right hand (wo) man. The work you have done the last few weeks for my family as i have been unwell will always remain with me all my days. For this i wish you every success on your own venture as a capo to Philly.

- -V- since the  beginning of my family you were my RHM until you set up and have done us all proud with your work in Philly, i am happy to see you have done so well and are now getting the boss position, congratulations on this.

- Godfather Deimne, a loyal and honorable friend, thank you for all the assistance during my run, ill never forget it.

Also, Ciaran Costigan, who moved into the LHM spot with me, and has worked tirelessly while he has worked with me.

As a final note i would like to thank the other bosses and capos of Philly for all the support and excellent communication we had together. Keep up the good work.

The last of my members will be moving over the next few hours to Boss -V-, at which point i will be joining ScipitaRourke. Thank you all for your time.

Pip tips his hat and strolls off into the city...

Pip has been a great asset to Philadelphia, seeing him step down hurts me greatly, words can't express how difficult it is to see someone of such high value to myself and Philadelphia taking a step back.
I have peace with it being in the knowledge we tried everything to prevent this but how far do you push one? I'm a pretty selfish kinda gal but enough is enough.
Pip needs his rest and we're going to give it to him.

Philadelphia being the great city that it is has found a great solution to this sad happening, as you've just heard.
Watching -V- stepping in the footsteps of Pip makes me feel very comfortable, having someone with such a vivavious spirit taking over will promise only good things for my fine city.
A well deserved promotion, I couldn't pick anyone more suitable.

With -V- making the big step to Philadelphia Boss a Capo slot opens, we ofcourse need to keep accomodating all these cheesesteak lovers.
It wasn't a difficult decission at all to promote Pixxie to Capo Decina of Philadelphia, the woman has proven herself many times over in the position of RH to Pip.
Sweet and deadly, like all the women around here in Philly. Spicy and gently, she fit's right in !

Rest me to congratulate all 3 of you.

Pip for being brave enough to step down, caring for his family as always.

Don Pip, though I have never served you or had the honor to work with you, it is still sad to see you step down as a Boss of Philly, I'm glad that you are sticking around instead of retiring from the life.

Also, Congratulations on your promotion, Don -V- and congratulations Don Pixxie on your promotion to Capodecina and your family. I hope I would have the honor to work with you and your families in the future.
