Today was the first day of business for James, and he was clearly excited as he rolled out of bed, smiling already. Getting ready to go open, he sprayed some cologne on and hopped in his car, driving into the city.

It was a bright day in the city as James Terranova was seen unlocking the door to a building that had been closed down for what seemed like an eternity. Recently he had been spotted around there a lot, painting the building, replacing the old rotted door, and doing general maintenance work in preparation for the grand opening. Rumor was that he was opening a convenience store.

Things looked interesting as all sorts of packages were delivered at all hours of the day and night. James was seen almost around the clock lately, trying to get the last bit of work done in time. He had hung black sheets over the windows, and kept the door locked at all times so nobody could get a peek at what he was doing.

Walking inside the building, James yanked the curtains down and flipped his sign to read "Open". Through the windows you could see isles of food and stands full of magazines and newspapers. The floor shined with a newly waxed look, and everything seemed to be on sale.

The front counter appeared to be devoted to selling cigarette's and tobacco. From across the street it was hard to tell exactly what was being sold in the store, but it looked spiffy with the fancy lights hanging from the ceiling.

James sat behind the counter on a stool, smiling to himself. He'd dreamed all his life of opening a business, and today was the day he'd been waiting for. Glancing over his shoulder, James peered through the hanging sheets into the back room, where a few of his friends were hanging out.

He'd forgotten that he allowed them to spend the night there, hiding from the cops. Oh well, he thought to himself, they weren't doing much other than smoking and playing poker.

Opening the cash register, James counted his money one more time, ensuring he had enough to make change. Nobody came in for a few hours, and he was getting discouraged. Then, he heard the bell go off indicating someone had entered, and his hopes were restored.

As he looked up to the man who'd just walked in, James heart just about hit the ceiling as it tried to make its exit up his throat. The man was a cop, and he was there for a reason... James was almost sure of it.

Trying to remain calm, James quickly wrote down on a piece of paper "Cop, hide!" and crumpled it into a ball, throwing it behind his back to the room where his friends sat. Hoping that they would look at it and read it, instead of thinking it was his way of making them come out, James pulled out a cigarette and lit it, speaking to the cop,

"How can I help you?"

Pennybags entered the store behind the police officer. He looked around to see what kind of merchandise was being sold in the newly opened store.

Picking up a pack of gum and a soda from the cooler he stepped behind the officer and waited to pay.

As the police officer stood there, trying to glimpse over James' shoulder, he merely smiled and pulled out a warrant stating he had permission to search the shop. James groaned internally and put on a fake smile, opening his arms and welcoming the cop,

"I've got nothing to hide."

As the cop started to snoop around, James greeted Pennybags with a genuine smile and a handshake, thanking him for being his first customer.

kingme walks in the new store and looks around  to see what he wants. looks at JamesTerranova  and say "just open and it seems  blue giving  problems" getting candy  and tea then walks in line

Prince-Cola saw the crumpled piece of paper that James threw into the back room and read it and whispered to the other

"police are here, we need to sneak out"

Prince and some other walked quietly out the back door so that James would not have any trouble with the police in his new opened shop
