Rae snapped her fingers at DannyGreene who was trailing behind her dutifully, as usual. “Daniel, this looks like as good of a place as any.” She told him pointing to a rather picturesque spot on the streets. And by picturesque she meant that there wasn’t any garbage littering up the view and distracting from her very pretty dress. Danny set her step stool down and held out a hand to help her up the four steps so she could balance on the top. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly, looking at the faces before her. 

“Well, hasn’t this been an interesting week?” she said with a weak laugh. “But, the show must go on. The retirement of our Godfather – Chairman, Wigglebutt,” she paused for a second and then stood up a bit straighter. “It’s changed the plans of New York.” She held up a hand as people started to murmur in the crowd.  “Our main goal has always been to re-build. To bring back New York to what it once was. It’s a good place to be, I’m quite fond of it. So our focus is shifting back to that, which is where it should have been all along.”

She glanced over where Sledge and WiggleFangirl4Lyfe were standing. She gave them a nod and a quick wink before turning her attention back to the people gathered. “Tonight, The Shameless will be moving to Brooklyn. The Special Air Service will be moving to the Bronx.” 

 “For the time being, I will be acting chairman, but Sledge, WFG4L and myself will be acting as one cohesive unit with only one goal in mind, which is to rebuild and regroup.”

Danny, a little weary from the last few days, came to life.  He was quite excited to move to Brooklyn and he could literally feel himself get a second wind.

That's awesome Rayln!  It's been an honor standing by your side through all of this.  

Danny kissed Rayln's hand and turned to Sledge and WFG4L.

Congrats to you guys too!  I can't wait to work to re-build New York with the 2 of you.

Sledge stood next to WFG4L, not really paying attention to Raylin, he was more interested in WFG4L's beautiful locks of hair. He had never seen any as shiny and lucious as his. He was in sheer awe of them and was trying to get some tips from him. After a minute or two he noticed Rayln look at him. He started to listen as he didnt want another beating today, CaitlinSnow had already been pretty rough with him and let's face it, Sledge is a delicate soul. 

Today is not an easy day, I wont stand and dwell on the past as like Rayln said, we need to move forward. It's never an easy task rebuilding cities but with these beautiful ladies, Sledge winked at WFG4L, I think we can restore NY back to a great, respectable city again. It will be a true honour to work with these two and I look forward to what the future brings! 

Bella had an anxious feeling as she noticed Rayln setting up her speech, She was trying get a good view as many stood in the crowd waiting for the new acting chairwoman to began as she said that her fellow followers and her would be rebuilding New York's broken streets and fallen buildings making the city once again a home of many like it's former glory past. Bella clapped in excitement as she knew if someone could make this possible it would be Rayln as the right person to do so!

Innocenza overheard RayIn's speech as she was walking around the streets of NYC. Just before she encountered her speech she had bought a bottle of white wine. When Rayin's finished Innocenza proceeds her towards her and hands her the bottle of wine.

"Congratulations dear, this is a great opportunity for you. Have this bottle of wine to celebrate it. I am sure you can do the job."

As RayIn accepts her gift she walks away and disappears in the gathered crowd. 

After a long and difficult week, hearing positive news about the future of New York was just what was needed. 

"Firstly, congratulations to you all.   As we so often need to do in this world, moving forward after difficult decisions is the best way to bring moral back up to the levels required to build a city.   I look forward to building this fine city with your guidance. "

Agostino had just heard of the news. It was sad what happened to Godfather Wigglebutt, even if Agostino didn't know him well, a mobster should go out guns blazing, not to retirement, but a Godfather's decision was a Gosfather's decision, and this one seemed to be the best for his city. This also opened the door for his good friend Don Rayln to take the reins of the city, with the help of Don Seldge and Don WiggleFanGirl4Lyfe.

"Congratulations to all of you. I know being a Godfather must have a lot of headaches, but I hope you enjoy it thoroughly, keep your head high and make New York prosper once again. Here's to rebuilding New York"

Agostino raised his whisky bottle.

Kratos wore some sunglasses that made him look like some blind man walking through New York at night, but he was actually shielding himself from the unusually bright lights. It wasn't usually this bright, but it seems like something was going on and true enough, he stumbled upon a crowd that was amassing. Right in the center of it all was Don Rayln, who was now acting Godmother of NY after Godfather Wigglebutt's retirement. 

Kratos knew that the dazzling lights must've been installed due to Rayln's instructions. She was of course, all about the glitz and glamour. Listening in to her speech, Kratos just soaked in the atmosphere that was surrounding him. New York finally seems to be bustling again. He only hope that this will continue and may all the crew thrive in this new atmosphere. 

Not wanting to be held back any longer, Kratos straightened his hat and walked into the shadows. He have to go back home.
