Same Shit.Different Toilet Started by: TonyCapazzoJr on Feb 09, '16 23:05

Tony Capazzo sat on his bed. He started thinking about everything that has happened over the last few days. His former family gunned down, so many killed, Philadelphia off the grid. He had put all his blood, sweat and tears into the family, into the business and now here he was, back to square one.

Although Tony was making a name for himself in Philadelphia he was now in Detroit and in Detroit he was nothing but a small fish in a gigantic pond filled with a ton of other fishes. He put on his tie and looked up to Paulie who was nearby.

“Damn Paulie, back to the basics eh?”

“Boss, it’s all good. You know what type of person you are, you know how hard you work, how hard you go. I am sure in no time you’re going to be climbing the ladder again.”

Tony nodded.

“Oh trust, I will find a way to get back on top.”

Tony knew the hard work that awaited him but he was up to the challenge. He had read some much about adversity in his father’s diary. He was well prepared for this moment. Sure it was a new family, the Spud Farm, but he had already been received well. He already felt a part of the family and was happy that Albino spotted him when he did and brought him back to Spud Farm headquarters in Detroit.

“Paulie you know it’s crazy, my father worked for Philadelphia and then later became Godfather of Black Bottom. I too started in Philadelphia and as fate would have it, here I am…here we are…in Black Bottom, Detroit.”

Paulie smiled and Tony thought back about the pages in which his father’s diary mentioned Albino-. Albino’s father was pretty new to these shores and new altogether of the business.. Somehow Albino managed to get to Detroit…Black Bottom specifically. After Albino and Tony met, Tony immediately knew he would be special. Albino was willing to learn, to work hard and to do whatever it took to be a good mafioso. Tony thought to himself…

“It’s no surprise his kid is a Right Hand Man.”

Tony continued praising Albino.

“It’s all full circle isn’t it Paulie, my pop helped his pop and now he is going to help me. Some sort of crazy mindfuck.”

Tony and Paulie laughed together. Tony stood up and looked at himself in the mirror while still talking to Paulie.

“Yeah you know what Paulie, let’s go do our thing. I have a lot of work to put in. We have a list of people we are suppose to go pick up some money from, why don’t you go pull up the car and let’s do these collections, hmm?”

Paulie nodded and went outside, he got into Tony’s Pierce Silver-Arrow and brought it up to the front. Tony came outside and looked at the beautiful car. Tony looked at it and smiled. This business had given him so much already, now that Tony had a little taste of what the life was like…and essentially losing it…there was one thing that was certain...he WANTED that life.

Tony got into the car and Paulie drove away. Tony didn’t mind that he had to start all the way from the bottom again. It gave a chance for people to see his work ethic and see what he was really all about. Tony had already made up in his mind that he would go above and beyond with any task he was given and if no task was given he would give himself one to do…just cause.

Hard work was always in his blood. It would be no different then when he was in Philly. He would continue his normal routine, earn, work and do whatever he could to help his new Detroit family. At the end of the day it was all the same....same shit...different toilet.

"I'ms with youss brrrrotherrrr!" JohnDoe says in a drunken grunt on the way past, or at least that's what you think he said, his Irish accent thick on the slurrr.  "WORRK! WORRK! WORRRK!... ands stays off the roulette tables! My 2 cents pal"  The madman stubles off nearly getting himself knocked down as he crosses the road as he goes on his way.

BlackAtom listens to the words of TonyCapazzoJr and feels compelled to chime in.

"I don't know how it was for you in Philly. But with all due respect, Detroit is hardly a toilet. To stay the same, is to receive the same. You get what you give. I hope you earn the prestige you want and make a name for yourself."

BlackAtom walks away smoking his full flavor cigarette.

Tony sees a man say a few words and walks away. He speaks but doesn't know if the man is too far to hear him.

"Sir, I think you misunderstood what I said. I never once said Detroit is a toilet. When I said same shit different toilet I was referring to the grind of being a mafioso. Working, earning and doing all that we do day in and day out. Regardless where we are its something we must do, work hard. Same shit...different toilet. Thank you for your well wishes I truly hope I can add to the wonderful place that is Detroit. Just wanted to clear everything up for Detroit isn't a toilet at all, it's the place I work, I sweat, I lay my head to sleep...my home."

BretTheHitmanHart was finishing up collecting his dues when he heard TonyCapazzoJr's comments about his father. The crazy cycle we live in. Although this was Bret's first time in partaking the life of crime, Bret knew how to do it. He didn't let his fame get in way to his collecting, nor did he allow any fans to interrupt his new gig.

"I can't say I've taken part in the cycle you mention Tony. I can say that I see it all the time lately though. The endless cycle of our relatives earning money the criminal and dying while doing it... its relative to my new way of life. I haven't had a chance to have a son on these shores, however my brother just arrived. He may not be a legacy, but he's definitely my blood.

OwenHart and I are our first of kin. Wrestlers at heart, gangsters on the side. We'll see how it goes come here jabroni!"

[Dr.RickMarshall listens, striking matches and puffing his pipe, as everyone says their peace]

"For me personally being on top is not as important as the foundation of which it stands, so all I may say is just hold True, with a foundation of loyalty and a willing heart then Good Graces shall find you"

[Dr.RickMarshall strikes yet another match, puffs twice then salutes everyone and says "Be Well" before heading off into Detroit..]
