Personally, I think this is an announcement which doesn't really affect those of you outside of Illinois and as such I'd have kept this behind closed doors. However, decorum demands a broader annoucement; and it would be churlish of me not to recognise Mr. Stifler's work in the public domain.

To cut a very long story short, Vinnie will be moving back from his capacity as Underboss whilst remaining with us in an advisory capacity. Not that it's yer business, but his mama's sick and we all know how important mothers are! There's no use trying to hide the fact that this is a sizeable setback to what we were hoping to achieve in Chicago. Plans have been put on hold, and it's no secret that a risk was taken with our choice to have Vinnie represent us as our premier underboss. He had very little experience, no true family history to speak of; and yet he has blossomed and developed into a true Bastion for our city. It was with great regret and chagrin that we accepted Vinnie's request to officially step down as our Capitano; but the future is far from bleak.

Like the caterpillar who emerges from the Cocoon as a butterfly, I have no doubt that Vinnie's successor will make the transition from Right Hand Man to Underboss with the ruthless efficiency and skill that we have come to expect from him. Dwight_Stifler as Vinnie's RHM is the obvious choice of Leader; but in Chicago people only suceed on their merits, and that is why Dwight will be taking on the bold suit.

Whilst I don't want to burden this friend of ours with the weight of expectation, there is no doubt in my mind that he will take up the mantle magnificently, continuing as a contributing factor to restoring Chicago to it's former glory.

With that said, the only thing left to do is for me to offer Dwight my heartfelt congratulations and open the grappa!

I am very sad to hear the news about Vinnie's mother. I know he was doing a splendid job and it is with a heavy heart that I witness him stepping down.

I also want to congratulate Mr. Stifler for taking on the task of being Chicago's underboss. I'm sure he'll do a splendid job.

First of all I'd like to say congratulations to Vinnie, he done a great job and leaves me with a great family.
