small added idea to Rogue crews... some type of active non active setting with a timer penalty... restricting people from switching too often... When active in Rogue crews... whack or some other type of attack would be available... |

What you guys are actually complaining about and what you actually mean are two different things. |

Con-fuckin-curred. You think it's too easy to rank? Fuck me, prove it, change this place, tear down the whole establishment. As a veteran of this place and others (7+ years) I can swear from the bottom of my heart that this place is not easy when it comes to climbing the ladder. I have found it far easier in the past to rank to the upper echelons, not this time, it has been one long and hard slog to get to where I am today, 200+ days later. Think before you speak, it is not easy, it is fuckin hard work, simple as that. |

complaints... nostalgia... easy leveling... ranking... blah blah blah... im not at all ripping or crying to squishy saying the ranking is too easy, blah blah blah... im adding that thare should be more combat between wiseguys and below... if you look at all my threads or most of my comments... in the end... its about PvP... how wars aren't that frequent, and how since the game pace has been a little faster lately... then all those who might cry over so much new bloodshed can use this faster ranking pace as an incentive to not give up and quit playing... I love how people take shit outta content, and then whip up quick witted comments to make us all feel shitty about our ideas... : ) Not me... : ) |

The admins have nothing to do really as to why ranking is easy, not like the ranking system needs changing, and like how grin put it, it goes down to the ones clicking the promotion buttons. Now days crew leaders are more concerned to have as many high ranks in their family as possible but not think if they really deserve it....the ranks are not respected as they use to be. But this does not go with all the current crew leaders and to all of them I kiss you. But here is another reason why war is essential. When war erupts i have seen to many times these high rankers who have no clue what to do...some of them don't even know how to kill someone or even pro, completely useless. Now all this creates is more easy high rank kills for me, which is alright but I want to think about the game and I never like when things are easy. Its when fighting someone strong that you test yourself and get the true excitement of war. So more war provides experience for them. Rather then making it some complete rare occasion. It is all up to us the players to change the game if we want it to. People have to keep in mind this is a game, your character will die eventually, so you have to choose, being someone who did nothing, kept their nose out of everything and do everything you are told by the ones stronger then you or grow some balls, take some initiative and don't be afraid to change things around for ya self. Sure things may fuck up and you end up dying but you just start again and keep at it, as many of us have been saying ranking is easy so it shouldnt take that long for you to be back up there. |

Yes, I do. I miss it a ton. That's how it was when I played before, wars happened all the time. It made the game exciting, exhilarating. Now there are too many high rankers, too much power, no one wants to lose what they've worked so hard for. Not saying this needs to change, I'm quite enjoying the game as it is now, I just miss how it used to be. |

It was a different world back then.. different features, etc. Yes I miss it, but this is.. the same thing on a different level. Godfather is still a lot of work, but yes we did suddenly get a lot of them but for good or bad that is where we are. Rogues do not happen due to changes in the game basically, so things have changed both game wise and although I miss them, I feel the game and I have grown older which I suppose comes with internal changes also about the game. |

One thing i would like to see is min times for ranking after wise guy to be extended. Not do-able every 3 days as that is pretty ridiculous. |

okay so.. basically if want to take over a business, in the business district... it would be more RP to do this in a thread... correct? since all this "its hard to rank when your a piece of shit, and don't want war when your made, the game was this, the game was that crap"... agreed RampagingFox
Well said... |

I miss the old days, but enjoy the new. Some change is good and we must continue on or end up moving on (aka leaving the site). Yet, the old for me was when not many people played. I believe it would be amazing to see 40 people on if that. Things have to change as we grow and more people join our ranks. |

Take away the concept of rogues. Let people make random families and then have to deal with their actions by facing their city, rather than the WHOLE GAME which is apparently what happens. Ive only been here for a few months but back where I came from, there was no rogue concept. Anyone with x money could make a fam, but those are two completely different games. Anyways, take away the notion that doing some kind of power grab in your city is going to make you illegible to be attacked by anyone on here and youll see more excitement. Little Johnny thinks hes hard done by - he decides to train his gun well enough and kills his boss, the family disbands. Normally the whole game would be calling for his head right? (i duno, you tell me please), whereas whatif little johnny comes to all the leaders of his city and tells them the reasons for his actions and they all agree to let him start his own family in that city. Or maybe they dislike his reasons and attack his new family but he's got a heap of good ex members and they fight the opression of their city and win? Now thats excitement. tl;dr take away the rogue concept attitude and you WILL see the blood that you desire. Also, if my crew leader or godfather or anybody reads this please dont take this as a threat to your head, im just stating a put which i think is relevant and an idea which i think this issue could be resolved with. Forgiveness please. |

Michael, perhaps the other city leaders would keep their nose out of a rogue in another city if there was certainty that the rogue would be no threat to other cities. That's rarely the case, however. Rogues usually appear in order to attack cities other than their own or just to cause random chaos. In those typical cases, it is every city's problem. This concern is moot, however, as rogues no longer have any impact on the game. The ability to purchase hundreds of bodyguards, combined with the ability to spot a prowack attempt, have rendered rogues completely useless. You will never again see a solitary gunman do significant damage. You do touch on a certain peculiar practice around here, though. It has been a long time since we have seen "City X" vs. "City Y" in a war. Usually it is a group of city leaders getting together and saying "We don't like the way so and so is running his/her city/family" and then they conduct a massive takedown with their greater numbers and there is no opportunity for retaliation. The more exciting times were when a family defended their own interests without calling for massive backup. The way wars work these days, you would think it was a fucking high school spat involving a bunch of bitchy girls who all gang up on one person. Simply put, there just is not that much intermingling of families in the real mafia. They handle their own business. |
