As I came to this wonderful city Detroit I wondered what I could do so excitement.

Looking out over the streets below me a saw a well dressed lady being helped from a new Cadillac, a car that I hoped to own one day.

Watching her walk down the street I did not see that I myself was being watched....my watcher was a lot closer.

I woke up in a daze and looking over me was a ugly and angry face, "Why were you watching her" hollered the man. Sitting up the man gave me only a bit of room to do so, still very wary of what I may do.

"What is your name punk hollered the man" ....what, why I did nothing wrong. Slapping me across the face he again screamed "Why were you watching the Lady Lily"

A smile came to my Lips when he said her name.... looking at the man I saw he knew he made a mistake, pushing me down to the ground again and holding his foot to my chest he calmly removed his gun from his vest. "This is going to sting a bit kid"

He seemed to stop and look at me again he asked "What's your name kid so I can contact your family and tell them the tragic news about their kids death".

Not wanting to give in to this thug I said: You tell me yours first since you have the gun and upper hand what could you lose.

Smiling then man said "Kid you have balls at least" My Name is TwoTones and you were watching my gal Lily.

Struggling a bit under the weight of his foot I told him I had no family and that I was new to Detroit, the name I go by is Freddy, FreddyFastFinger.

Well Freddy TwoTones said this is your lucky day, I have need of a young lad to do a few small jobs for me, looking deep into my eyes he released me from the ground.

Sure hell I can do them for you if I can get some cash for it....Looking at TwoTones, I mean I need to eat and food is expensive in the city.

Dusting myself off  I watched has TwoTones put his gun away and pulled out a wade of cash. Looking at me peeling a few bills from his pile of cash. "Kid get yourself a new suit and clean yourself up then I need you to watch Lily for me, Yes I leaving town on business and I need her watched". Do you think you can handle that for me?

"Does your ass follow you around" was what came out of my mouth. Looking for another smack to the ground I cringed ..... opening my eyes I saw TT smile. "Kid I like your style"

Pushing the cash into my hands he said "Lily will be in the building she went into for the night. Clean yourself up and you can start following her in the morning.

Looking at the pile of cash in my hands I missed TT walking off into the fading light of the dusky night.

Tomorrow I would need to have a plan together to be able to follow this Lady, I would be outside her door bright and early.
