It was one of those days where something slaps you in the face. Something changes, or you finally see the truth, and it hurts. McKnighter was sitting in his office, going through letters with a pocket knife. He would cut it open, read who it was from, and put it into one of the two piles on his desk. Business, and Personal. He was in the middle of reading a Christmas card when his phone rings. The man jumped a bit, not used to the ringing. He quickly answers it.
Apollonia said the orders in a coldly manner. Johnny in charge of a small time street gang, they haven't been an issue until he tried to take over a business that belonged to the Regime. Failing, he went to the black market to get more firepower. Word on the street is that he's got enough to take down the docks. McKnighter dropped the letter and went for his coat.
McKnighter hangs up. He pulls on his coat, and took out a key out of the coat pocket. He inserts it into one of the desk drawers, and it clicks open. Standing up as he pulls it out, it was a small weapons pile, full of guns, explosives, the works. McKnighter grabbed two Colt .45s and slips them into his coat pockets. He turns and walks over to his cabinet. He opens it, reveling some of the heavier weapons. He reaches for a Tommy Gun and a hunting rifle with a scope. Carrying the two under his arms, he walks out of his office room and heads out the door. Going out of the HQ, he passes by TBK, who reminded him to pick up more food for Skipper, her dog. McKnighter nodded his head, not paying any attention to her. He walks out of the HQ to meet the cold winder weather of Detroit. He hurries to his car and opens the door. He throws the two guns in the back and slams his car door. He puts the gear into reverse and launches out of the parking space. On his way to the docks, he gets trapped in the holiday shopping mobs on wheels. Frustrated, he looks up into his rear view mirror. He sees himself, but he's not familiar. Gray hairs are starting to streak his hair, slight wrinkles are appearing. He grips the wheel, and feels less stronger than he was in his youth. He shakes his head.
After what seemed forever, McKnighter finally clears the way and reaches the metal factory. Parking behind one of the metal structures in the factory area, he climbs on top of a worker's break room with the hunting rifle. Peering down the sights, he scopes out the area. The metal factory looked like a big warehouse with smoke stacks shooting from it's roof. One man was seen, armed, by the stack closest to the door where McKnighter was suppose to enter. Looking down, there is two guards waiting for him at the door. "Better see what he has to say," McKnighter thought. McKnighter walked towards the factory, rifle in the back of the car now, Colts in his butt pockets, hid from view by the long coat. He reaches the guards, or more like thugs, and they tell him to halt. They quickly do a search for weapons, but they were too dumb to check his butt for any weapons. McKnighter goes in, still packing heat. The meeting was a simple set, table, a bottle of whiskey, and chairs. Johnny sat at one end, guarded by another pair of thugs. A few others were standing around, patrolling the area. McKnighter sits down at the opposite end. He puts his hands on the table and makes the first move.
Johnny squinted, young, foolish, and thinks his Superman.
McKnighter smiled, this kid had no idea what he was getting himself into.
Johnny turned red, he gripped a pistol on the table.
McKnighter slowly reaches down to his back pocket, and slipped out his Colt. He needs a little bit more time.
McKnighter's gun was pointed right at Johnny's lower chest, the gun below the table. McKnighter fires off two shots into Johnny. He yells out in agony as he falls back in his chair. McKnighter stands up quickly and fires off two more rounds into the two thugs standing beside him, dumbfounded. The remaining thugs that were outside of the meeting area fired upon McKnighter. He kicks over the table for cover and returns fire. Three thugs were firing from the table's cover side. McKnighter reloads his first colt, and takes out the 2nd one. With both in hand, he pokes his guns out and returns fire on the thugs. Bullets go flying, two of the three thugs are struck and taken down. One, however, still stood and counter fired. McKnighter didn't turn back fast enough, and his right shoulder felt like it was struck by a baseball bat and then set on fire. "Fuck!" McKnighter couldn't even move it, he drops the gun in his right hand and looked over to where the thug was. He wasn't there. Turning around in fear, he looks right into a barrel. The thug smirk as he started to taunt him.
McKnighter closed his eyes, he didn't wanted it to end like this. A round fired, and McKnighter was still there. He slowly opened his eyes, and saw that the thug's head was shot clean off. McKnighter hears a loud "Decapitation!!!" roar from the other side of the factory. He looked over to see a few members of his Crew, coming to his aid. Fricken_Revenge led the way, followed by TBK and Savvy. TBK rushes over and hugs McKnighter, who bled over her. She slaps him in the face and lectures him.
McKnighter sighed, maybe it was time to stop trying to be a hero. TBK waves a bag of dog food in his face.

TBK watched as Mck took a deep breath, this was certainly not where dog food could be bought. Luckily for him she conviced everyone to stop in the nearest pet store and pick some up. She sighed when she noticed a gigantic blood stain on her shirt. |

McKnighter held his left arm out. TBK grabbed it and shockingly pulled McKnighter to his feet. Tom, who just broke through the roof to get in the building, throws McKnighter on his shoulder and walks off with him. The group follows, looking for a hospital. TBK, on the other hand, was looking for a mall. McKnighter couldn't believe she was more into getting him new clothes rather than saving his life. "TBK, I think the clothes can wait. Let me get patched up first." |

TBK was worried sick, not only was Mck badly injured but his shirt was destroyed. That was her favorite shirt. Luckily she stopped the car on the way to hospital and got him a snazzy little black and green button down. The others protested but she knew that stop was worth it. She could see Mck looked great in it and now he could bleed to death in high fashion. |
