"So who is this fuck?"

Paulie inquisitively asked Tony. Tony immediately stopped what he was doing and turned to Paulie.

"Firstly, watch your fuckin mouth...secondly...don't ever disrespect a member of my family like that EVER again. Ever. I've looked into this guy and have spoken to him several times back at Spud Farm Headquarters. Relax."

Paulie gulped, it was the first time he had truly pissed of Tony. Tony had been talking about this new guy for a few days now and Paulie was getting worried that his spot as Tony's associate would be in jeopardy. Since Tony made his bones a lot of opportunities had risen and Tony always brought Paulie along so that he could make a cut himself. Things were good financially for Paulie and he looked at the new guy as someone not only horning in on Tony and their friendship but also more importantly on Paulie's money. Paulie realized he was out of line with his tone and harshness so he quickly pulled back.

"Sorry boss, really I am. I just want to make sure this guy isn't going to hurt your pockets is all. You know I've always had your back and always looked out for your best interest. It's what I do, it's what you pay me to do."

Tony laughed.

"Paulie, calm down buddy, you aren't going anywhere. I am not getting rid of you for fuck sakes. It's very simple. This is a business arrangement is all."

Paulie nodded feeling a little better.

"You got it Tony."

Tony then pointed up ahead.

"There…pull in there where those guys are working. That's the construction team I hired there."

Paulie nodded and pulled up ahead to a fairly vacant area. There was quite a few construction men working. Some were working on walls, the electricians were doing there thing and the plumbers likewise. Paulie and Tony finally halted and came out of the vehicle. The construction workers all greeted Tony and he tipped his fedora to all of them. He stood in the middle and inhaled deeply. He took everything in and after a few moments finally spoke to Paulie.

"Ahhhhh....you smell that Paulie!?

"Yeh boss..I smell the paint."

Tony quickly shot Paulie a stern look.

"No Paulie...its success, its opportunity, its cold hard cash!"

Tony looked around and Paulie did as well, he was confused.

"Ohhhhh….Boss, is THIS the place?

Tony smiled and nodded.

"Indeed it is my friend. This is where my night club will be opening in about 6 weeks.  It's going to be fanfuckintastic!"

Paulie laughed, he started thinking about all the money that was going to be made and he couldn't help but smile and laugh.

"So boss, this new guy...what's his deal?"

Tony signaled for Paulie to come in the corner so that the two men could talk in private away from the construction workers.

"So here's the thing Paul. From what I understand this guy is into the escorting business. He has a group of girls that go around and provide services.

"Like whores… boss?

Tony shook his head, he was trying to say it in the most business like way as possible and here Paulie was referring to it like that.

"Yes Paulie. Whores. But this guy is going to be more of the high class, high standards type of service.

Paulie shook his head understanding that there was business in that sort of racket.

"That's where I come in Paulie. I am going to have a gigantic night club here in a few weeks. I am going to have clients coming in from all over the country, hell maybe even the world. Athletes, musicians, politicians you name it is going to be here. We both know they all like 'dipping' around. This is where our friend will come in with his services. People will be lined up to use his services and I will be providing the accommodations.

Paulie now seeing the bigger picture nodded.

"Ohhhh I hear you boss."

Tony nodded and continued.

"Right, I've instructed the construction team to build a separate section on the 2nd floor. It will be a kind of a hotel/leisure area. I am going to provide the guy this space so that he can conduct his business. He will have bathrooms including showers and toilets not to mention a wide array of bedrooms and I will set him up with his own personal office."

Paulie once again feeling a bit jealous decided to speak out.

"Oh he gets his own office too?"

Tony put his hand on his head and sighed.

"Relax Paulie, you're office will be on the club level floor."

Paulie then smiled.

"OK boss, what about yours?"

Tony then pointed to an area opposite of where the dance floor was going to be."I am going to have a small office down here and my main office will be on the third level. It will be the only thing on that level and I am having a wall to wall window put in so I can look down on the action anytime I want."Paulie nodded once again he liked the ideas he heard from Tony.

"It all sounds great boss. I can't wait till this sucker opens up."

Tony looked around and nodded. This was definitely a great investment and he knew there was a lot of money to be made. He read how successful his father's business was, one of the most lucrative businesses in Philly at the time. Tony wanted to follow in his footsteps and make his father proud. He had hoped he too could be as successful.

"So boss what's the guy's name anyway?

Paulie turned and asked Tony. As Tony was going to answer him he noticed a car pull up. It was the new guy. Tony had invited him here to show him the place and iron out all their details. Tony spotted him and nodded his head over toward the new guy signaling to Paulie he was here.

"He goes by Gfunk and here he is..."
