Rayln stood under the banner with a grin on her face. “Aren’t I clever?” she asked DannyGreene who was sitting on the stage with his legs hanging off it going through her mails whilst shaking his head in amusement. Not used to being ignored by her faithful man secretary she turned around, crossed her arms, and in a slightly louder and more perturbed voice she called out, “Daniel John Patrick Greene!” and when he finally looked up she grinned again, waved her hand at the banner and once again asked, “Aren’t I clever?” before walking over him to read over his shoulder at her own mails. Plucking the one out of his hand she tsk’d and tucked it safely into her purse. “This is so very bittersweet, my dear friend.” She told him, “On the one hand, I’ll be losing you. But on the other hand there are different fingers.” 

She looked up, “Oh good, we can begin.” She said with a clap before tugging at his arm, “Come on now dear, up up. This is your moment of glory.” She told him before dragging him over to the podium. “Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming out today. This is a big day for us here in New York. A day I have been dreaming about for weeks.” She glanced over at Danny to see his nose buried in yet another mail and a smile on his face. With a sigh she leaned over and snatched the remaining stack of correspondence out of his hands. “You are incorrigible.” She hissed at him before turning her attention back to the crowd. 

“Ahem.” She said before smiling, “Today we’re here to announce the newest leader to our little neck of the woods in New York, specifically Brooklyn. Daniel here has been an amazing asset to the city and I cannot wait to see what he can achieve without me around pestering him and making him pick up my dry cleaning and deliver my super important mails to the fellow leaders of our fine city. New York is still rebuilding, and I believe that with Mr. Daniel...” she paused to look at the man and roll her eyes slightly, “John Patrick Greene, we’re taking yet another step in the right direction.” 

“Now please remember, all congratulations are to be delivered to me, and condolences are to be sent to Danny.” She told them before bumping her shoulder into Danny, “Kidding aside, New York is lucky to have you, and I honestly don’t know how I am going to cope without you around. But you’ve earned this, my dear friend.”  She wrapped her arms around him in a hug and sniffled, “Shut up, I am not crying. Godmothers don’t cry.” She muttered into his shirt when the man started shaking with silent laughter. She then stepped back and turning around to wipe her eyes and let the good people come up to say nice things to her former hand. 

handlebarz pulls a flask out from the inside pocket of his coat. He raises the flask and takes a drink.

HanSolo was in a New York bar when he heard Brooklyn was expanding. Brooklyn was fine for his smuggling business, so he decided to find Godfather Rayln and Consiglieri DannyGreene and congratulate them.

BretTheHitmanHart was in his hotdog costume again while he saw the newly appointed Godmother Rayln step out and make an important speech regarding a new auth. And the mentioning of her taking the helm of the Big Apple. Even though Bret was wearing his hotdog costume, he felt the need to give the new Godmother and her appointed new Captain, DannyGreene, his respects.

"Pardon my eagerness to pay my respects. I've been working the hotdog stand lately. I just wanted to congratulate you Godmother Rayln and give my respects to your newest auth. Good luck Consigliere DannyGreene.

Here."

Bret reached into his singlet and took out a few hotdog coupons for both of them. 

"Your next lunch is on me. Again, congrats Godmother Rayln."

Bret walked away awkwardly in his hotdog outfit.

Danny really didn't like occasions like these, especially when there are people in this thing of ours that are losing their lives as he speaks. He quickly and quietly tips his hat and hugs his lovely boss, squeezing her ass during the hug. He knew she hated that.

I'm excited to be given this opportunity by Godmother Rayln.  I will do my best to make her and all of NY proud.

With that Danny slips back into the crowd, only to sneak back out to accept the coupons for free hot dogs from BretTheHitmanHart.

Barzini was strolling around when he saw Godmother Rayln and DannyGreene talking infront of the podium. He lights his cigar and approached both of them

Congratulations Lady boss and congratulations to you too Danny! You lucky irish fuck!

He then gave Godmother Rayln a quick hug and a bottle of the finest wine in New York and gave danny a lucky penny. 

After walking away from the streets he saw a man wearing a hotdog costume. He sighed, who the fuck is that weirdo and he kept on walking.

This is a great day to New York city. Congratulations, Godmother Rayln and Danny Greene, my old friend.

Miss Rayln, or should I say Godmother Rayln, I wish you all the best upon achieving your new role as head of New York. It is no easy task becoming a Godmother, but I have all the faith that you will do a fantastic job in heading the lot and making this city, once again, great. Furthermore, I want to also congratulate DannyGreene on becoming underboss. We haven't spoke before but I know you will do great as well!
