The city is quiet.

Jungle animals roar.

My mind... it's bleeding, oh why is my mind bleeding? My grandmother comes in to my room, I shoot her, oh... the humanity of which is life.

The streets. They burn. Why do they burn? Probably because I threw a bunch of lit matches at all of the pretty houses, but what is the point? Nobody knows. Only I do.

Hint, there was no point. I was pretty much just bored.

Act II

"Hey man, you selling that dope by my Street corner?"

"Yeah, you know it. This shit sells great out here."

"Oh..."

Bang. Bang. Silence.

"Don't do drugs. It turns you in to an anteater."

Anteaters appear everywhere. Shadows cast on my spine. Dying. Dead. Gone. Forever.

Act IV, cause nobody cares about III. Poor III.

"Did you notice that guy out back? He had a horse. I want his horse."

Anger shows on my face. I pull out my gun. Silence.

"Okay, I'll get you this horse."

I lie. Hehe. I'm so mean sometimes. Being a mobster, it's a hard life.

"Don't be sad. There is always the ice cream man."

Fin.

Leucosia stares blankly at the closing curtains, half applauding--half hesistant. She walks  out, limply holding a wrinkled ticket in her hand. She wasn't quite sure what just happened or what that was, but as an ice cream truck slowly drove by with the tinkering bells sounds, she understood. 

I bump.

"Ouch, you injured my body. That hurt me very horribly."

Falls.

"Now my blood is bleeding. Very sick am I."

John shakes his head.

What's wrong with people nowadays?

It's not people. It's Revan. His own class of species. 

Tom stands up and applauds the masterful performance.

"This is what should be playing everywhere." Tom walks over and shakes Revan's hand. "Great work Revan. I can't wait for another work of this caliber to come out." Tom walks out with a grin on his face.

Lily cocks her head uncertainly at the end of the play, giving some polite applause. She lea whispers to her similarly mystified neighbor.

"I think it was a postmodern reworking of a Jacobean revenge play."
