I think that once a person reaches the rank of Godfather that they should have the chance to gain the title, Capo di tutti capi, or Boss of all Bosses, meaning that the Godfather has a chance to try and get all crews in there state to join one crew, with, obviously them as the boss, and all the other crew leaders as a council for the Capo Di Tutti Capi. |

Awesome topic! As many of you might know the title was introduced by the media led an investigative committee known as the US Senate who probed into organized crime. The most powerful crime boss was given this title by the media. To make a long story short, if anyone is not familiar with the Castellammarese War it does make a good read. And it gets even more interesting with food for thought what unraveled thereafter.
For the record in the Sicilian Mafia the term does not exist. |

It was basically awarded to the American Mafia and seldom to more then one crime boss because it created tension between factions. |
