Lily had slightly regrouped from the long and daunting hours of gunfire and bloodshed from the mayhem that ensued. She was still quite exhausted but mustered enough energy to make herself decent enough to be seen out in public. There was no time to be tired, way too many things needed to be done, first though was a cup of much needed coffee.

She had just enough day old coffee in her pot that was in her office that she didn't have to go through the hassle of making a new one. She quick threw it in a cup and took a swig. She took the cup with her to desk, sat down in her chair and placed her feet up.

There were lots of things to do, the rebuilding process was about to begin...again. In order to do that though there needed to be some good people put into place. It didn't take her long to figure out what needed to be done. She quick picked up the phone and gave SpikeS a call. It rang a couple of times before he answered. There conversation was quick and short with him giving her the nod to move forward with the plan.

She took the last swig of her coffee before summoning for DoctorBoom. 

A moment later he came strolling into her office and took a seat. Lily smiled at him before she began speaking.

"You are probably wondering why I called you in here so often."

DoctorBoom nodded

"Well as you know it's time to rebuilding and well you sir are going to be a part of that."

She rummaged through her top drawer before wrapping her hands around a set of keys. She jingled them about before tossing them to him.

"BlackBottom needs some love and I know you are the perfect one to tend to it. The HQ over there needs a bit of work but it's something for you to start with."

Its nice to see the rebuilding of Detroit to be lead by you sir! Doctor! I mean. 

The district of BlackBottom could definitely use a little bit of BOOM!!! To get the mob business flowing down there again.

Extremely happy to see you rising to this prominent position, my friend. We may have had a few extremely rough days lately, but we are on our way to recovery and there is no one better than yourself to help us get there.

John was walking down the street in Detroit before heading to the airport to catch a flight back to New York when he saw DoctorBoom's car pull up to the diner just up the street. Having heard through the grapevine that DoctorBoom would be taking over the rebuilding of Blackbottom John cautiously approached, being sure to keep his hands in clear view of the many large men surrounding the new Detroit Boss.  

"DoctorBoom, I don't wish to impose, I simply wanted to say congratulations on your new position. Have a good day"

With that John backed away a respectable distance and waited for DoctorBoom to continue his way into the diner before turning away and continuing his stroll. 

A tiny cute Owl flutters his way through the city streets. He stops at a few corners, his head twisting and turning as if inspecting every single inch of the area. After what feels like an eternity the Owl eventually reaches his destination. Contorting his neck to the correct angle he lets off a small hoot in the direction of DoctorBoom who seemingly does not notice the creature.

hoot hoot! hoot hoot!

As if by magic something overtakes the fluffy critter as his voice rumbles throughout the entire city. Once he had gotten the attention of the entire nearby area, he bellowed a few words for the newest leader to reach these shores.

"THE GODKING GIVES HIS CONGRATULATIONS, DOCTOR OF BOOMS. MAY THIS BOON FOREVER BE WITH YOU."

Once finished, his back feathers frill up and he lets off a light coo before taking off in flight. Dropping a small token of his appreciation into the rather large crowd. He was never seen or heard from again.

I look forward to working with you in the future you have my sincerest congratulations. LONG LIVE THE TYRANT and his morning wood.

Congratulations DoctorBoom. I know that you are a very well liked man. There arent many people who are more deserving of a position like this than you. I know you will do big things.

Could we avoid letting those boom bots of yours blow to many things up though, please.

Maria had just about settled herself into The Morningwood Elite's headquarters, and decided to take a stroll around Black Bottom, the district that she now called home. As she walked, she happened across Lily, announcing the ascension of DoctorBoom, her new leader.

With a smile, Maria headed over to add her words to the words of the crowd gathered to congratulate him.

"DoctorBoom! Congratulations sir. My mother worked for your father for much of her life and I know you started out your life with her in Philadelphia, and my sister spoke most highly of you from her own time in Detroit, and I know from their words and from my experience so far that Black Bottom could not be in better hands, and that I could not have found my home in a better family."

Maria raised the small silver flask of whisky she kept in her purse to DoctorBoom.

"Long live The Morningwood Elite!"

George makes his way down the street as quickly as possible without losing any of the letters that keeps falling from his trench coat pockets. While carrying more mail in his hands he continues to drop envelopes without noticing. Finally making it over to the corner he stopped and dumped everything into the trash bin.

Too hell with it!

I have far more important things to be doing with my time then constantly hanging out with the mail man. That is why I tried to make my way down here as quickly as possible hearing the good word. You DoctorDoom sir are a great addition to BlackBottom and the city of Detroit.

Our family lines have known each other for awhile now and I look forward to future business ventures together. It is good to see Detroit start the rebuilding process with a respectable figure like yourself.

My door is always open and would be more then happy to share a cigar and whiskey sometime!

Pine had been holding up some telephone wires when he heard Lily making her speech about DoctorBoom. He smiled as he just joined DoctorBoom himself to help him build a better future for the city of Detroit. After all the losses it had suffered in the past week. Pine let go of the wires to come over to DoctorBoom, to congratulate him in person, not only for his new found leadership, but also giving Pine himself an opportunity to join up with him.

"Congratulations DoctorBoom, I look forward to working with you in the future on many a project here in Black Bottom! I know our bloodlines run deep with each others, so we will make a fantastic pair together."

Pine shakes the hand of the out stretched one of DoctorBooms before clapping the man on the back when he pulls him in for a hug instead.

Pine goes back over to his spot where his telephone wires were left on the ground and he picks them back up and puts them back up in the air, knowing he was doing what needed to be done for the greater good of the city.

Congratulations Sir DB! I'm very glad I get to work with you again! Tsunayoshi then salutes.

Like most here I just want to extend my well wishes to the Doctor. Its obvious testament to him at how quickly he has filled the walls of his HQ. You have already accumulated a great range of amazing mobsters to set off your family on the right track. Our lines have worked together before but hopefully this time it will be on a much closer level.

Im excited at the thought of this process with you and this already buzzing crew. Congrats again pal, very much deserved.

Edward Kenway walks out into the street smiling as all can be after a long night of drinking rum and playing card games he raises his bottle rum and shouts, 

"Congratulations Doc. Hope alls wells with you.." He takes another slug of his rum and wanders off. 

Kratos heard of the news and made no hesitation to drop by his auth speech. Being one of the few who were slightly late to the occasion, Kratos was forced to watch everything from the back of the massive crowd. He could only wait for the crowd to disperse and thin before being able to come close enough to DoctorBoom. What felt like hours, slowly but surely the crowd begins to wither, to a point where only a handful of mafiosos were left. Kratos straightened his tie and waited for the mafioso to stop talking before clearing his throat and began speaking.

"Congratulations DoctorBoom! My father once served briefly under your Father. I wish for that to continue. I'm certain and believe that you can bring Black Bottom to it's former glory, as I have full trust in your abilities."

With a warm smile and a firm handshake, Kratos took a step back to allow others to have a chance to speak to the great Doctor.

Taken aback by the rush of support, the mad Doctor stood silently next to Don Lily. Many of his friends and former colleagues had taken time out of their day to lend their support to Morningwood.  He let them finish while he thumbed his fathers ring, thinking about everything that had happened.

Thank you everyone for all of your kind words and support.  It is almost a little overwhelming to see you all show up with such haste.  From the bottom of my heart, to SpikeS, Don Lily, and all of you that come out to show your support, you have my undying gratitude.  

I will not disappoint any of you.  I swear it.
