Banshee takes a deep breath as she looks around at the busy people walking quickly up and down the streets. Looking down at the ground she kicks a bit of snow that remained under her feet. Slowly she looks up and brings herself to smile.

So it seems that the holidays that were so fast approaching have now past, and with that a year has come and gone and a new one begins. To me it comes with new challenges, new experiences and a chance for a fresh clean start if needed. But I must say that it also makes me reflect on things that I am extremely thankful for, and people that have come into my life this last year that I hope will continue to be there with me for many years to come.

I just wanted to say to those that I have grown close to as friends this last year thank you. To the one I have grown to love an even bigger thank you. With out these people in my life and among me a year that was tough might have been unbearable. Some of you have given me courage, strength, an ear (to for lack of a better word bitch in) when I needed one or even maybe a wise word that I didn't realize till after I look back on it and see the chain of events that it might have created.

So I just wanted to take this new day of this new year to stop and reflect and let those know that it means a lot to what you have given me.

She pauses and takes a deep breath and then slowly exhales.

Maybe a few of you that run hurriedly down the street might like to take a moment or two to do the same to just let those that have had a large impact on you know that and thank them as well for what they have given to you.

You know who I care for? I care for Amelia, I haven't known her that much but damn, Seems like were going in a good direction! Don't you agree Amelia?

Amelia is walking through the busy streets going about her business, she stops suddenly as she hears a familiar voice. Looking through the crowed area she sees Banshee. Amelia waits for her to finish talking she claps her hands and tells her that she is one of the few people in her life she'd like to thank for being there in times of need.

"Banshee I thank you for helping me out in my troubled times. You have been and remain a good friend. I look forward to many years ahead."

Amelia gives Banshee a hug which is then interrupted by someone calling out her name. Amelia turns around to see Chong.

"Thank you Chong. I too feel we're going in good direction. We've had fun times. Whether it be in the local bar or doing crimes. I've grown very fond of you. I look forward to sharing more fun times and creating more memories with you."

OST listens intently.

A fresh start is always nice. I would like to say I, too, am thankful for the friends I have gotten close to. Friends are what makes things so much easier to deal with, even if at times you dont take their advice and later kick yourself in the ass for not listening. 

She smiles as she thinks of those people and then walks down the street to the nearest bar to toast them all.

She grinned and nodded her head, "Friends are what keep our streets together and alive." she commented, "they're the reason we all wake up each day and keep doing what we do, friends and family." She smiled again, "Well that and greed, but thats another subject, wouldn't you agree?" she said with a laugh.

OST turns to Mackenzie.

I think the greed would be almost lonely without having friends and family amongst us. One can only do so much before it gets tedious, but with friends the work seems much less dull. 

She nodded her head, "You speak the truth, OST." she told her friend, "Wise truth."

MVP then compliments OST."What you have said is so much the truth and real."Friends can pick you up when your at your downfall so it's good to have them.

"Friends can also buy you drinks when you need them the most." She nodded wisely, "Oh yes, and who doesn't need a good drink now and then?"

Yeah you guys are all right about friends. But I think most of all they are there when you need them most. A friend is someone you can turn to and will help you through or with anything. I just hope I can be like for my friends. Someone they know is really there.
