| Show/Hide Feature Under Achievements | Started by: Aislin on Feb 23, '16 21:09 |

I would like to propose an idea to hide achievements. Specifically, the achievements that one is not completing at the moment or the achievements that have been fully completed.
For example: Under Manage -you will click achievements as you would normally, but there would be a hide feature right next to show, indicating that you are wanting to hide the achievement. |

God yes. I threw this idea in the shit that bugs you thread a few months ago - but seriously a "Hide completed" button would make me pee my pants with joy. |

That incompleted Grave Robber achievement pisses me off every time I look at it. If there was a way to get rid of it, I'd be all for it. |

I really hope the MR team can make this happen. For such a simple suggestion it would make navigating through the achievement list a lot quicker. |

This would be awesome. The Grave Robber achievement pains me. I wasn't aware that this could only be done by the lower ranks, so now it just taunts me, uncompleted... forever. |

I once again throw my enthusiastic support behind this suggestion- or even with a single modification- something to do with the Grave Robber achievement. All other achievements could theoretically be completed at any time- but an achievement that is no longer possible after 8 days of playing taunts completionists. Perhaps the Wise Guy or under qualification for Grave Robbing could be removed? Perhaps the achievement could be combined with the basic pickpocketing one or deleted entirely? Or we could hide achievements from ourselves through the manage screen, as originally suggested? |

Graverobbing is able to be completed at any time - as long as you don't get promoted. That's why most CLs ask their members if they are grave robbing before making them Made. Also, you don't get made until 11 days, not eight. For me, I hate seeing them incomplete so I always do at least the first three phases before I'll take the promotion.
I do still love the idea of hiding completed achievements. Would make it so much easier to see what you're working towards. |

| Stefania- thanks for clearing up that error; I obviously meant eleven days as opposed to eight. And while I acknowledge that it's certainly possible to grave rob like crazy prior to a promotion, it is still irksome that by progressing in the game previously achievable things become impossible. I understand the argument that Made Men would seemingly be too respected to go robbing graves- but wouldnt that also rule out things like pickpocketing and snatching purses? It just seems strange that this one action/achievement is unique compared to all the rest. | |

I agree to Stefania's suggestion: "... hiding completed achievements. Would make it so much easier to see what you're working towards. " |

Definitely love and support the idea of hiding completed achievements! In fact, I think every single achievement should have a hide option. I personally only managed to get halfway through the third phase of Graverobbing before I was promoted. This means it'll never be completed but I won't be able to hide it. So the ability to hide all achievements, completed or not, would be superb.
However.. I will settle for hiding completed achievements. Or maybe even having two pages, "Current Achievement" / "Completed Achievements" ... Or having all of the completed achievements stack at the bottom rather than remain in the order they are in now. Any one of these would suit me, as long as it's easier to find and read the achievements I'm actually working on. |
