| Adjustment To Timers | Started by: Aislin on Feb 25, '16 13:47 |

I am not complaining, I love that there is a countdown timer, and thank you admins for that, but I think that the actual time should be shown as well on the countdown timers.
For example, petty timer releases in 3:20, and in game time is 00:20
When your hover your mouse over 3:20 directly underneath would be the release time which would be 00:23:20. It would only show if you hover your mouse over it, otherwise it would be completely hidden.
Furthermore, you could even make this a perk. 1 credit for the ability to see release times.
(Please excuse any brevity and/or typos.) |

I don't see how much use this has, besides being a bit easier to work out when you need to be back at your computer so I don't think it's worth charging for as it's not required enough that people would pay it. However, it's a pretty good idea. Perhaps have it as a scrollover for the timers, so the timers bar doesn't become huge and cluttered. |

What I would like is it to be sticky. So that if you scroll down, you could still see it.. |

Rudy, there is an option for that in Manage > Options - General ... "Enable Sticky Menu\Timers" under "Interface Options" See here: https://gyazo.com/d24c76492bb91bcdbe11a0a771136aac
Sorry to steal your thread briefly there, OP. |

| That's perfectly fine, helping someone always takes precedence over the disscusion at hand, but yeah, I think you have to scroll down, it's in the middle and check the box so that you can have your timers follow you :) you can even customize your interface. | |

I just don't see anyone paying credits for this, if you're like me even if you know the release time just knowing it isn't gonna do much for you. Even if I'm at my computer I'll forget things like IRC on the :20s and races when I know exactly when they happen. That's why if I really want to remember when to do something I set a timer on my phone. And then we have the simple fact the the more important cool down times are super easy to calculate, not sure how many people would care at what time their Petty/Felony is going to open back up, but maybe I'm missing the point. |

AfghanTango, you are, but that is perfectly acceptable. I was saying, a release time be added to the original count down timer when you hover your mouse over it -the credit thing was just added as a sorta, if you would like to. I personally do not think it should be sold as a credit, You can not edit these things, shrugs.
I am sure most people here care about petties and felonies -if they did not there would not be a need for them or achievements -so that was a moot point, and further this would benefit those of us who like to visualize, and see -some of us just aren't that great at math anyway, even if it is simple math. I think it would be very beneficial, and would lead to overall aesthetic appeal to timers. |
