Chargers are the hottest team in the NFL so they'll get there and I believe the NFC is wide open but since I can only pic one I'll go with the Cowboys because thier D is killing it right now...I hate the Cowboys too!!! But in the end I don't think it will matter because the Bolts are going all the way!!!! |

Raven v. Colts Everyone and their brother is predicting Colts to win this one, and many more are saying the Colts will go all the way. Well here is something for you to think about...traditionally, the teams that do well in the playoffs are those with good defense and good running games. That's Baltimore to a "T". Baltimore has the NFL's fifth best rushing attack and the third best defense in points scored and yards allowed. Indy? Their running game is a pitiful 32nd in the league and their defense is just average. This is my upset pick. RAVENS WIN 27-21 Cards v. Saints This should be another shootout, much like last week's Green Bay game. By the way, did anyone else catch the face mask on Rodger's on the last play of the game? Yeah, that touchdown should have been called back. Anyhow, I don't think anyone can beat the Saints in a shootout. While they may have look mortal in the last couple weeks of the regular season, I suspect they will be back to their previous form now that the games really matter. The Saints looked unbeatable when they were at their peak, and I think that team will return this week. Besides, the SuperDome crowd can get really obnoxious. Should be a fun game. SAINTS WIN 42-31 Jets v. Bolts The sun even shines on a dog's ass some days. That day, for the Jets, was last week when they beat the Bengals. Mark Sanchez did not even have to show up to win last week, but this week he will have to do more than hand the ball off to Thomas Jones if they expect to compete with the hottest team in the NFL. Rookie Sanchez will not be up to the job. Let's just hope the Chargers show some mercy. CHARGERS WIN 28-3 Vikings v. Cowboys The Vikings have been very unpredictable as of late, and the Cowboys have been on a roll. That being said, the playoffs are a new season and you cannot look to previous weeks as an accurate indicator of playoff performance. Mr Brett Favre has the benefits of a bye week last week to rest his old bones, as well as 17 years of playoff experience. The Cowboys finally won a playoff game last week, beating an overrated Philly team. They will have their hands full this week playing an underrated Vikings team. The Boys' good run defense will be neutralized by Adrian Peterson, and may Favre have mercy on their 20th rated pass defense. Let's just hope Romo doesn't go to church before the game and pray to God for a victory, because God is playing for the other team and wearing number 4. VIKINGS WIN 35-17 |
