| Casino - Anonymous ownership? | Started by: TheGuyFromTheBar on Jan 07, '10 08:11 |

Ok, here's the idea. A person can buy a casino and for a fee own and operate it anonymously. It could be restricted by rank and there could be a fee payable to keep it anonymous. Of course, if it was a particularly profitable casino, a person could try and arrange his own protection, but could still try and take his chances by remaining anonymous. Your thoughts and ideas please? |

What's the benefits of it? And it would be quite easy to see who was owning it as they'd go from Extremely Rich to poor. I just see no benefits from this idea. |

Well, a person who owns a casino could find themself a target, from a rival crew or someone that's jealous. If it was owned anonymously, they could reap the rewards but do it quietly. |

Sounds good to me. It provides the owner with more protection. I don't see how anyone would find out that you bought the casino. How often is someone going to see if your Extremely Rich or poor. |

It's pointless. Someone with 23 million dollars likely already has a lot of bodyguards, and a powerful gun. It'd be hard for someone to take them out. |

I like this idea. I know of some people who in previous mr accounts, saved up together and tried to buy one, but they in the end couldn't because their crew leader told them that in a war they would be the first to go, especially as they weren't very high ranked. I think anonymous ownership may allow people who wouldn't normally consider a casino, buy one. |

Don-constable - that's what I'm talking about. A few guys could club together and guy it, without getting taken out by the GF of the city (or maybe the GF is the only one that knows) I think it opens up possibilites |

I was thinking about this idea earlier and I'm glad someone already posted it The obvious benefits are that one would no longer have a target painted on their back from all their success and wealth People love to hate other people who are successful |

I think that at this point in time, there is no place for low ranking people to own a casino. After godfathers and possibly Crew Leaders, I think it's selfish to own a casino. |

Yes i think it is selfish too... i mean, if a Godfather buys a casino and then someone attacks one or two of his CL's than what? He surely could use the xtra millions to rebuild his city instead on wasting it in a Casino. The income better be worth it i must say. And why make it anonymous... for jealousy? Well... some people get jealous from just seeing extreemly rich... i dont see the point in this sorry! |

When leaders and godfathers say users shouldn't buy a casino as they're not high enough ranked or well enough protected, they don't just say it to be dicks. It's because it's true. |

Now i am not saying that the Casino should be deleted from the game. I just feel that a Godfather should only purchase one when he has at least 4 family's in his city. That way, if he loses one or two families during war, he can always count on the ones remaining to help him reconstruct his city. So, in order to purchase a Casino he must have the cash flow to do so. |
