Will stood next to Godfather Spike as he made the announcement, smiled and nodded a couple times, then returned his gaze to the crowd before them.  When Spike was done, he stood forward, handed Spike a Dr Pepper, and whispered: It's only the finest soda ever made, Godfather.  

With that, he took one more step forward, took a breath, and began to speak, projecting his voice so those at even the furthest corners could hear.  

Thanks for coming out today, and thank you Godfather Spike for this opportunity.  It's been an honor serving you, as my father did before me.  I also want to thank Lily for giving me a chance to grow in her family, and showing me the way.  

I don't want to be long, but I did want to tell you a bit about us.  We, from here on out, shall be known as Black Rock.  Our Headquarters will be in the lovely building nextdoor to Lily and we welcome all those who wish to come by to see what we're about, have an ice cold Dr Pepper, or even those looking for a job.  But know this, if you're coming to Black Rock for employment, be prepared to put in the work.  While we expect that those within Black Rock will have fun, we will expect you to live by a code.  

Loyalty - We will be loyal to you.  And we expect the same.  You keep our secrets, we'll keep yours.  We like to call it Omerta.  You join us, that means you've joined US.  I will work for you, I expect and demand the same.

Respect - Same thing.  I will respect those who show that same respect.  If you plan on working within these walls, you represent this family and will be respectful to those you interact with in the streets, in our fine bars, and in the coffee shops.  

Honor - Live your life with honor.  If you don't know what this means, then we may have a problem.  

There will obviously be rules you'll be expected to follow.  And breaking those rules will have consequences.  But you'll also be expected to have some fun, join us in family gatherings, and learn to love Dr Pepper.  

If you're not scared away by some hard work, and you like to have fun, come talk to me or Via.  

Again, thanks very much Godfather Spike.  I look forward to working with the city of Detroit.  It will definitely be my honor.

She preferred her Dr Pepper with vodka, in a martini glass. Partly because she loved Dr Pepper and vodka, and partly because anyone could look classy holding a martini glass. She decided to leave the boxed wine at home for this occasion. Drinking in public was one thing. Drinking from anything with a spout might not get you invited back.

I'll not bore you by repeating what Mr. Hayes has so eloquently stated. I'll just say if you like the hard work aspect, see him. If you like to have fun, well, that's why I'm here.

Thanks are certainly in order to both Godfather Spike and to the incomparable Lily who have both done so much to make this happen. 

Via raises her suspiciously half-empty glass.

Work hard. Play hard. Live and die by the code. Congratulations Will. I'm terribly biased and fully aware of it, but this is an appointment well deserved. I'm pleased and honored to be aboard.

Han Solo waited to hear Will Hayes speech and it certainly was worth it. It was great to hear all the excitement and the face of hard work Detroit got us used to. Han Solo finally went up to Will and Via to congratulate them.

"You two almost got me convinced to try and get to your crew hehe. Congratulations on this opportunity and I'm excited to see how you will fare. Downtown has a very high standard, so it's an honor you guys got this nod. All the best for you and your crew."

Han Solo put his fedora back on and went on his way.

Saul Sliver is wondering the streets of his home town Downtown, when he notices Will Hayes. Saul walks over to him and stands at the front of the crowd. Saul Silver listens to what Will Hayes has to say and when he finishes Saul steps forward clearing his throat.

"Congratulations on your achievement Will. I know you will do a great job and look forward to seeing you and your new family grow in Downtown. I wish you all the best my friend."

Saul Turns round making his way through the crowd before it gets too busy disappearing in the distance.  

Saue was in Detroit on buisness, he's always in Detroit. Saue was just leaving one of the local bars as he noticed Godfather SpikeS and Will Hayes so he thought 'Aaaahh Speeches, everybody loves speeches' as he started to head closer to listen in properly. 

Saue listens closely as Will Hayes speaks enjoying what Hayes had to say he was cheering him on when the speech was over Saue walked over to Will hayes offered his hand and said

"Hey Congratulations on the auth, your speech was one of a kind sir, the names Saue im a long way from home at the moment but im always around your beautiful parrs here in DT, maybe one day we can meet at a local bar and have a drink sometime."

Saue reaches into his front pocket of his suit coat and takes out his flask and decides that its time he heads home, so he heads into the nearest alley and heads to the airport.
