Something beautiful died last night, something called Family. A group of miscreants came together under Sledges' roof, they created a bond, learned to work together, and ultimately became a family. Every single associate and made man of SAS would have given the shirt off their backs for a fellow crew member. Not a single question would have been raised, nor a single complaint uttered, they just took care of their own. That doesn't happen in this world very often, and when it gets destroyed, well it is hard to recover from.

The reasons are what they are. Be it truth, or the utter horseshit that's being fed to everyone listening. You can gobble it up and smile because you don't know any better, or you can walk around it and keep on keeping on. Those of you gobbling it up, hopefully you'll soon realize how much horseshit you're being given and do something about it.

Demi looks at the mess of dead bodies she shook her head in disgust it was very unpleasant for something like this to happen and especially from her own home city things have been hard and we have ridden it out before but for it to come to this she sighs this was a very hard decision made today and wasn't taken lightly but needed to be done. Sorry thing ended up the way they did though.

I support the choices of the Godmother even if its the death of a whole city to a entire district. If that what it takes then I'll follow through but their is no victory in this "war" because a war means both sides have a equal chance of winning. This in my opinion was a blood bath, I liked Sledge and I also liked Afghan but he seemed a bit sketchy at times even that, he seemed to be a good friend. The main reason, I call this a blood bath or a genocide of The Bronx is because innocent people got stuck in the cross fire. I still agree what our Godmother choice was but it sickens me to see innocent people die just because a few mistakes of their leader. I am a small guy but everyone should have a opinion. You still made a hard choice to make Rayln. I respect that but I ask one thing don't end up doing that to your own district please. It will make me even more sad. Rayln, you still did a good job. Thank you and I hope I don't get any hate for my opinion.

It is always sad to see friends and kin die but that is just a part of this thing of ours. We all have had people close to us die and it makes us angry. We should not seek revenge for the fallen but move on and live long lives and never forget those who fell no matter what the reason. For those of you who have lost friends for whatever reason are going to be mad at Rayln for some time. We must remember though that she is not completely at fault here and she isn't completely innocence either. Rayln is a reasonable person and i'm sure if sledge wanted he could have peacefully step'd down. This didn't happen and I can't blame him. If I was him I would have gone down fighting as well. He knew what he was up against. I am speaking from experience I lived through the last take down of Bronx and I was pissed. I hated Kimble at that time and thought he was a tyrant and that he was evil. I have since forgiven him because he was just looking out for those closest to him.  

Or we can simply conclude no one can develop a character or create a new life because it is immediately stifled.  Oligarchy rigns loud and clear.

I highly doubt anyone is mad. More like disgusted.

John walked through the crowd hearing the rants of those who where angry at the action taken by Rayln and WFG4L. He shook his head in dismay, he could understand the friends and family of those that had died being angry but some of the insults they hurled seemed childish at best. 

Clearing his throat slightly he spoke up:

When we all joined this thing of ours we accepted that our road would likely end violently. Death is an expected and accepted part of all of our lives. Innocents lost I hear some say...what innocents would these be? I heard of no civilians dying, only those who had joined this life we lead and accepted the possible consequences. I am saddened that many of my fellow New Yorker's had to die but to claim that any where innocent is a farce and if you truly believe any of us are innocent you should reconsider the path you trod. 

To all of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice last night I hope they may rest in peace, to the surviving friends and family I hope you may find comfort in the solace of friends still with you.

I appreciate the sympathy that many of you have shown towards my father's district. In light of the number of comments and the vast range of opinion, I shall, for what it's worth, give my 2 cents. 

Was the justification for this war weak? Yes. Was this a betrayal of trust? It would seem so. Do the next of kin of the fallen have the right to feel aggrieved? I think so. But they need to let it go. Rayln had every right to do this. 

Let's be honest here. This is La Cosa Nostra and bar the few of us that survive long enough to retire in the old country, we are all going to meet this end. In the past, my bloodline has happily gone to war for nothing more than a power grab - it's the way our world works. To take grudges like that through to your next of kin is unhealthy. 

This works both ways. The bloodlines of the fallen, should be given a chance like any other to prove themselves, just as they should learn to forgive (but not forget) last nights events. 

I'm very disappointed with how the last 24 hours have gone, but I must learn not to hold bitterness against any districts. For example, had my father, Simba, been a member of Brooklyn, I'm sure he would have taken all steps necessary to help complete the takedown in the name of loyalty. 

My biggest hope is that our world can learn not to hold petty thieves and thugs accountable for their late parents' loyalty to a fallen district.
