The plane safely lands in Detroit. After a hard day of work her stomach starts to rumble. With her busy schedule she hadn't eaten today. Apart from that not tastefull stuff she recieved during her 1st class flight. The champagne was good tough. She felt it made her lightheaded when she got up to get out of the plane. As she grabs her bag she looses her balance which causes her to stumble upon some other passenger. I'm so sorry. Senza says to this man as she smiles akwardly. The man nods and smiles faintly. Innocenza quickly proceeds her way out of the plane. |

After a long day of running the rackets in Detroit Antonio and his entourage of zips were famished as they strolled down the blvd in the very heart of Corktown Detroit when they came across IL PALAZZO DEL GUSTO the first truly italian restaurant they have seen in Detroit. Very much missing home he directed his large group to the front where he told the host he would need seating for twenty twenty seven and politely waited while the staff made room and directed them over to their seats.
Always measured and composed Antonio looked over the menu hiding his near starvation well. Our menu includes...
Pane fresco $ 4.50 Pizzetta napoli $ 20.50 Bruschetta $ 11.00 Mozzarella Fritta (3x Portion) $ 15.00 Margherita Pizza $ 19.00 Calabrese Pizza $ 21.00 Bolognese Pizza $ 22.00 Spaghetti “chitarra” carbonara $ 24.00 Tagliatelle al ragu $ 25.00 Lasagne Romagnole $ 22.50 Coming to a decision Antonio spoke happily and far more comfortably in his native tongue to his clearly paisano waiter. "Ciao ci cameriere posso prega di avere la Mozzarella Fritta e ben fatto se per evryone così come tagliatelle al ragù e lasagne Romagnole grazie mille" |

After an eventful week in Detroit, Rose was determined to have at least one quiet evening before she caught her flight the next day. Business kept her on the go nonstop all over the country. Earlier in the afternoon, she passed by an Italian restaurant on the way back to the hotel. It had been sometime since Rose had an authentic Italian dinner, so tonight was the perfect time to relax and indulge. After entering the charming restaurant, she noticed a table near the back wall which provided privacy. The maitre d' escorted Rose to the table she mentioned when he asked 'table or booth?'. The evening was young, but there was already a growing crowd. She procured a table adjacent to the one she selected, for Nico to stay nearby. As the maitre d' held the chair, Rose gracefully took a seat then smoothed the silk material covering just past her knees. She crossed her legs under the table then relaxed a bit in her seat. The maitre d' handed Rose the menu then announced with pride the specials for the evening. She stated she needed a moment to look over the menu. He nodded in agreement before leaving. Within a few moments time, a young gentleman had approached her table inquiring if she was ready to order. "Good evening Miss. Are you ready to order?" She placed the open menu on the table with a smile then spoke with enthusiasm. "Everything looks favoloso. I would like to start with the Pane fresco, and the Spaghetti “chitarra” carbonara. Also a glass of Sangiovese. Grazie." "Would you like to order your dessert now or later Miss?" "Perhaps a little later. I am not settled on a choice yet." With a nod, the waiter collected the menu then assured Rose the order would be out promptly. She sat back in the chair glancing around the dining area, and wondered if she would catch a glimpse of any familiar faces. |
