While, I was sitting here typing on MR. I received a particular nasty mail. I have received a lot of mail from these type of individuals -some nasty, some I just wanted to ignore, and some that were just phishing for information.

Anyway, the whole point of this is to suggest a block feature or rather ignore feature that not only ignores the username, but the IP address as well. 

I do not know the process that this would take or the amount of coding that something like this would entail, it is only a suggestion.

You'd be able to find out people's accounts I'd say if you could "block an IP" and then unblock etc to figure out who is who =/

If you're getting nasty/over the line mails, send a mail to helpdesk, they will handle it appropriately.

Ah, block any all messages from the IP address :P is what I was meaning, my apologies.

What I mean is, you could "block" someone and it follows them to their next character, you could use process of elimination to figure out who that person's new name is.

Also, no problem. Really though, if you're getting over the line messages, harassment or any of the sort, talk to your crew leader. If that doesn't work, go to the staff, they'll take the appropriate measures.

Sound advice Kyubey & Ragnarok ,but the mails isn't what this is about, it is the basis of why this suggestion was made, but I do not wish to dwell on that. 

I want to block ANY and ALL contact with a user, not just there name.
