For many years, things remain the same.  There are wars, there are killings, there are coalitions, they make rules, people follow the rules, people break the rules, there are wars, there is killing, rejuvenation, reinvention, new leaders, new followers, longstanding bloodlines, new blood, fresh faces.

But is this it?

Are we stuck?

ARE WE STUCK?

What could be done differently?

We're not stuck. What you've just described is the natural process of things. The only other alternatives I see are both terrible options.

Never ending peace? What point would there in coming to the streets? To the various coffee shops? It would be a dull, painless affair. Nothing would hold any value, nobody would desire leadership. Ambition would be crushed under the lax nature of things.

Never ending war? Where every desperate shot made that hits, would be a monumental victory. The rush of embracing our thing would be like taking a dose of the purest cocaine. It'd be the opposite of peace, people would burn. Bloodlines would burnout, leave these shores never to return. In the end, the only thing left would be a few small time gangsters fighting out for a small piece of half a city block.

What we have now is balance. Balance between peace and war, where new leaders emerge from time to time to inject fresh momentum in Our Thing. Sure, there are grudges and some questionable actions taking by old bloodlines. However, there is both a reason and the ability to embrace everything out there.

Are we stuck where?  

You certainly offer an oversimplification, and not completely accurate way of the world.  But in your own speech you explain there re old leaders and there are new leaders.  There is old blood and there is new blood.  I'm not sure what you are seeking - recycled blood?  somewhat-new leaders?  

You've explained our worldl has fresh faces and re-invention.  That sounds pretty good, doesn't it?  That reinvention you speak of is what ensures we don't get stuck, isn't it?  Isn't that new blood, those fresh faces and those new leaders - aren't they the ones that prove we aren't stuck?  

There is birth.

There is life.

There is death.

That, my friend, is life.

Demi sat listening to the man repeat again over Are we stuck it sank in for a bit was this a never ending cycle? We needed peace but with too much peace world would have nothing to do... Why train why sell why buy? Being rich would be pointless? Building forts, families? Why would all this be necessary? Yes we get tired of seeing our bloodlines fall just to must bring them back to where our parents left off from. But war is needed it happens! Doesn't need to be brought so often or so close or near back to back we do need breaks we need a breather from time to time yes... A small peace between everyone but things don't last forever they never do your fooling yourself if you think that way... We all end but with an end there is always a new beginning to take it's place.

I think we are massively lacking some new blood. In previous times I have encouraged people to get their friends to come along and help out the family but people rarely seem to be up for it, the referral system isn't great so historically I have created my own system whereby members who recruit friends earn a % of their peers earnings and have a large sum awarded upon their peer earning their button.

I think a wave of new blood would mean new personalities, bigger crews, maybe even getting to see the districts reach their potentials rather than have small crews dotted around. We'd hopefully see power split between cities/districts rather than 1 or 2 being the major powerhouses. Ever since the districts split the cities, we've never really seen them reach their potential and I feel it defeats the purpose of them being there in the first place. A drive to get new blood here is what we need in my opinion. After all I can't be the only one bored of seeing the same bloodlines do the same things, with the same chums they usually do. It's very stagnant because it's a fairly small community and chances are you're going to bump into someone you know when you walk down the street, despite how incognito they want to be.

I would not say we are stuck beings we are the solution.  Getting new blood is a piece of cake. It is how we embrace them that's of vital importance.  We are surrounded by much brilliance.  Even the brilliant get blind sighted for one reason or another. Thus leaving the potentially brilliant newcomers on the wayside.

I am agreeing with some of these who spoke before me - we are not stuck, we are in cycle.

I have no experience, and I am one of "new faces", but I would say that cycle is because people don't learn on mistakes, and because without death MR has no sense.

Super peaceful world - world when all of gangsters would learn SHOOTING and prepare for WAR - it would be not stable. Wars are heartbeats of MR. Life without death has no meaning.

We are stuck and not stuck in the same time - stuck because it will happen again and again. Not stuck because very often reason of wars are new leaders - these which want to check how much they can do. For them, it is not cycle, because it is happening first time.

By this definition of being 'stuck', have we ever been loose or free?
