In light of the most recent tragedy- the death of the great Cthulhu- and the availability of the other crew leaders for an emergency meeting- I have taken it upon myself to auth someone into New York. With the consent of Moretay, my esteemed associate from New Orleans, we will shortly be seeing the former part time Right Hand man of Cthulhu, Sal_Giaquinto, set up his own family.
He is a man I have found to be of sound mind and good judgment. I have every faith he will be more than capable of running his own crew to the standard that his own family head before him did. Hopefully we can move on and rebuild from this tragedy, and salvage many of the homeless that sprung up from this unfortunate incident. I wish you the best of luck in New York, Sal, and may the Cthulhu Cult live on in spirit. |

Although I am deeply saddened by the circumstances through which this happened, I am very proud to see Sal take this place. He is a true man of honor, and his bloodline has had this coming for a long time.

Nikki listens with rapt attention at the latest entrant to the circle of the most influential people in their society. Sadly, these speeches usually came in the wake of tragedy and bloodshed, but often offered promises of new beginnings and growth in the near future. She applauded the latest appointee with vigor and vocalized her support.
Often times in venues as these I\'ve found myself disappointed with the announcement. Not this time. I find myself in agreement with you, Mr. McTavish at your selection. Sal_Giaquinto will not only fill the shoes of his dearly departed predecessor but exceed the expectations that have already been set.

Please don't congratulate me. I much rather be in the service of Cthulhu. I do believe though, out of tradegy can come good. My bloodline has wandered and been a part of This Thing of Ours for many generations... Cthulhu was one of the greatest the Giaquinto's had the pleasure of servicing. Rest well my friend. I was devastated to hear the news of Cthulhu's death when I flew back into the city this evening.
As I said privately to Mr Giaquinto, it is a shame that he is setting up under these circumstances. He is someone I've known as a solid leader and a right mind. It will be an honor to work with him. |
