I'm not the most social person lately so perhaps standards have changed but I'm fairly certain that still IS the most popular opinion(to be loyal to ones crew leader)...

I'm assuming this means I've avoided having to suck any balls, right?

Personally, I have a love for this topic. We see so many individuals trading sides mid war to save their own skins. So do we all really value loyalty as much as we say we do? I think not.

There are some that are loyal when its convenient to them, and others who give everything for their leaders (Including their lives). There is no way to really know which type you have until push comes to shove. People can tell you they are loyal and flip so easily. So really, actions speak louder than words ever will.

Loyalty starts with your leader. If your leader isn't loyal how can you be?

You can pledge allegiance to the flag your leader flies all you want, but you'll still be loyal to yourself. If one were truly loyal to their leaders they would die with them when the time comes rather than scramble to accept the first invite from whatever leader in whatever city just to survive.

In my personal opinion a Right Hand and a Left Hand should ALWAYS go down with the ship, that's loyalty. Something at least one of the current leaders knows NOTHING about. 

I have to disagree with you Seven. I know when my father was a crew leader what was most important to him was his members. He would not want any of his members to die because of him. This of course was one of the factors that lead to his downfall. He didn't want to paint a target on his families heads by having them protect him. 

There are certainly a lot of aspects and situations that could alter loyalty. I think if a war happens that people should go down with their leaders, but so often you see those protection orders afterwards. The protection orders should afford safety to certain people sure (like your leader , but I think they also alter how people view loyalty to their leaders in some way. Of course protection orders are just an example.

This topic alone will have varying opinions based on people's personal experiences.  Their experiences and the situations that they are in. I will argue that loyalty to my leader is the most important thing to me. It is my leader that I have daily interaction with. My leader that takes an interest in me. I picked the leader that I would join, and with this choice I have pledged my life.

Others are going to say that the loyalty should be the Godfather of whatever district you are in. What if your godfather takes no interest in you? Do you still owe them the same as you do the individual that actually cares what it is you are doing? Making sure that you have gotten the hang of things? Those are just the edge of some of the questions people have to answer when the time comes.

At the end of the day though, we are not all the same. Our experiences are not all the same. So our opinions will not always be the same.

Demi heard some man shouting out with a loud pitched voice at first she thought he was a crazy man someone seeking attention or someone on drugs screaming cause the drugs were hitting him too hard but after hearing him out a bit... She realized this man was only trying to preach to the world about loyalty and how people should respect their leaders and keep loyalness. Demi would have to say she agreed with this man. Her bloodline was known to be mostly loyal but also their could be times when the leader steps out of line and you know the thing they did was wrong... We all know right from wrong so if they so happen to do the wrong would the loyalness still be there? You wanna be with the right side and be innocent but what if you followed them keeping the loyalty wouldn't that make you as evil as them?

So what am I trying to get at it is all depending on the situation and how thing play out at the moment... But it is completely wrong to just go unloyal and not have a perfectly good reason to back it up.

I'm glad you have your opinion as I think it's important people do have their opinions and bring it out here in to the street. Without opinions this place would be baron and so I encourage anyone who has one, no matter how ridiculous, to come forward and share it. It's nice to see people mixing things up, this is a very controversial topic and personally I have no problem with what you are saying, after all that's your opinion and you are completely entitled to it. My opinion is similar to yours in that we should be loyal to our crew and to our leader, in this case, Petey P. I'm glad you have taken the time to come out here and express your opinion, I hope you will also appreciate mine Mr Mollusk.

Damn, I was standing here so long and I was thinking...just get to the freakin point!  If you have a point, make it.  Don't beat around the bush for 5 minutes explaining that you're going to have a point.  Just make it.  I almost left before you got to your point.  But I'm glad I stayed.  It was a good point.  And I like it.  And I say, good for you.  

I really don't know where I stand.  I'm not going to stand here, pound my first, and say that every single member of my family should die when I die.  

You know what?  Fuck that.  If and when I die - we all do die after all - I would be happiest if those who survive me found a home.  Why the hell would my descendents be happy if my members died with me?  That shows some kind of loyalty?  What would show me loyalty is if they hung with me when I was alive, and fought with me during war.  That's the loyalty I'd like to see.  Anything else?  I'm dead.  Do what you want.  The fact that they'd then go down with the ship?  I don't know.  That just sounds like suicide.   

Sure, it sounds great - they'd continue to fight to their death in my honor.   But that just sounds...egotistical on my part.  Why not just build me a pyramid and bury me inside?  

Loyalty is a fickle bitch.  So, I'll take it for as long as I can have it, and if that's to death, I feel like that's a life well lived.  

I have to Agree with WillHayes. Members are more than just soldiers to fight in war. They are apart of a family and it is the crew leader's responsibility to take care of and look after his family. Crew leaders need to be loyal to their God Father or God Mother. The Crew should be loyal to their Crew Leader. I am not an accurate judge of how Crew leader's should treat their members but I do believe that many members befriend each other and their leader. If I were to die tomorrow I wouldn't expect my friends and family to get them selves killed for me. I would want them to live on.
