Lily had just gotten out of a meeting with Godfather SpikeS, usually the two of them joke around or causing some kind of mischief. This time was a bit different, this time it was about business. Not too long ago the good DoctorBoom had been given the keys to Chicago, a place that was in dire need of a rebuild. This though left Black Bottom empty and in need to be occupied.

They sat down with a bottle of wine and had a brief discussion about the city. Spike was a bit somber due to the doctor taking flight to Chicago but he knew he needed to spread his wings. Lily watched as he poured her a glass, then himself. Before she reached to pick up her glass Spike began speaking.

" I'd like to have a toast to Detroit's future, the end of the curse on a city. Things haven't been easy for us, but they never are for anyone in our position. Everything you have done for me has been helpful, and you've done a lot for Detroit as a whole.."

Lily picked up her glass and raised it towards Spike.

"To the great city of Detroit."

The two tapped the glasses together, Lily took a sip. Spike took a sip. He then placed his glass down.

"About Detroit."

He paused for a moment

"Black Bottom.... Is yours."

Lily smiled then took another sip of her wine.

"Well it's about time, just kidding though. I'm honored and I have already given this thought before, cause I had a feeling one day this would be my destiny.

The two finished the bottle of wine before Lily went off to make her big move.

Congratulations, Lily. We've been waiting for this for a long time, especially the Turkey. 

Pine had been wondering around the streets, followed closely behind by his own personal Cone. Boy was he getting tired of the constant following of him, but he knew if he told Cone that, it would hurt his feels too much, so he left him be. They passed by Lily making her announcement about her crew moving to Black Bottom and Pine's heart light up for her. After her speech was over, he made his way over to her to personally congratulate her.

"Lily my dear, this is a wonderful day for you, I couldn't be prouder of the fact that you will be getting your own district to run. We've been working together for awhile now, back when I was in Detroit and even now that I am in Chicago. I wish you all the best, and if you would ever need anything from me, please don't hesitate to ask."

Pine  gave Lily a hug before letting Cone have a second to congratulate her before the pair started on their journey back down the street.

.. he hung up the phone and smiled. The news was rather important and definitely long over due.. certainly not a surprise to him. BigHurt got up from his desk and went down the hall to Lily's office door. He stood there for a moment.. admiring the door and the framing around it. His eyes wandered up to the ceiling.. he found himself looking up and down the hall. Taking mental pictures of what soon would be history.

With a slight grin.. he reaches up and knocks on the door. 

"Come in." he could hear the joy in her voice through the thick door.

"Lily.. I wanted to come congratulate you personally on the big move. Finally the time has come.. you deserve this."

she smiled and thanked him.. Big walked over to the corner bar in her office, pulled out two glasses and poured them both a bit to drink. He walked over to her desk and handed her a glass. 

"A toast to the newest leader of Black Bottom.. cheers to our future and the building of Black Bottom." they tap glasses together and take a drink.

It has been an honor working alongside you in Downtown and I am very excited for you and your new home of BlackBottom!

I am sure you will do great things with the place and if I ever need to send Palerider over in the maids outfit you just let me know.

Congratulations Lily, 

It was an honor being a part of your family.  You taught me quite a bit in my time with you, and I soaked in as much as I could in the time I was there.  It was a privilege to serve a leader for whom I have so much respect.  To then have the opportunity to set up next to you in Downtown was an honor.  You were always available to assist, and to answer any silly questions.   So, for all you did, I say Thank You!  Now, take Black Bottom and make it yours.  You'll be missed here in Downtown.  But don't worry, I still know where to find you with my silly questions.  You're the best.  

Demi was walking around DT decided to take a trip into black bottom as it seemed empty she knew the bums be in need of a good fix and her bag filled with tons of drugs ready to make a good profit. She look at her two loyal Bodyguards making sure they were ready in case any bum tried to touch her. 

She went into the darkest ally and found the group pitching around a garbage barrel filled with wood and a made fire to keep them warm she yelled out dinner is ready waiting as they lined up money in hand. Many of them wanted specials deals but She knew better to take pity on those bums she demanded full cash or nothing at all.

Demi walks out the ally with her two bodyguards with a empty duffle bag and tons of cash in pockets, She hear a loud noise as she looked around she noticed a group moving in and taking over black bottom they were given auth to move in. Demi signaled hey bodyguards to follow her as she went to see a bit more... A toast was being held Demi fault it was needed for her to congratulate them in their new opportunity. She gave out jelly shots to everyone in sight. I wish the best to you Lily and your district. She smiles and walks away.

This here is just another perfect example of the same old shit different day.

I remember the days when one earned this honor and folks from all across the shores would gather and salute. Instead we are looking at SpikeS puppets saluting. How boring.

You are doing exactly what you are bitching about.  You are just making the same complaint in different places, i.e. spewing the same shit different day about the same shit different day.

FYI - thank you for moving me up to a SpikeS puppet.  I wasn't a fan of being called a SpikeS fan.  But a puppet.  Now I'm moving up in the world.  

And I'm not just a SpikeS puppet.  I'm the head SpikeS puppet.  Well, I take that back.  i guess BostonGeorge may have a say in that.  But who knows if he'd even want the job.  So, until he says otherwise, I lay claim to the job as head SpikeS puppet.

After arriving in Detroit, Karmen made her way to Black Bottom to congratulate her friend Lily. She had been given a whole district to herself, and Karmen couldn't be happier for her!

She approached The Cure Headquarters and knocked, waiting for the door to open. She was greeted by Lily herself and she hugged her and said, "I just stopped by to tell you congratulations on getting Black Bottom! You so deserve this! I know you've worked hard for this opportunity and I'm sure you'll do great things. Please accept this lovely bottle of White Wine. It's only for you though. You don't have to share!"

She hugged her again and said, "I'll be on my way now but I couldn't go without congratulating you. Best wishes to you and yours in Black Bottom!"

With that, she smiled and turned around, walking back towards her car to continue on with her business in Detroit.

"Dear wife of mine, even though..." She checked the bottle and sighed when it was empty, "You've finished the wine, I am still very happy for you. When you're settled we'll have to get a few more bottles and properly celebrate." she told her lovely wife with a wink.

Maria had heard on the grapevine that Lily had finally been authorised to take over operations in Black Bottom, Detroit during the week, and had immediately booked herself a ticket out to Detroit for the weekend. It would be a flying visit, but she wanted to go and congratulate Lily in person, and to wish her well for the future.

When she had finally landed in Detroit, Maria jumped in a taxi towards Black Bottom. She had the taxi pull up outside her own old headquarters in the city, and decided to walk the short distance to where Lily had set up home for her crew. She paused at the door of the building that she had once called home and smiled. Black Bottom held many happy memories for Maria, had been where she had started her life. To know that the district was in such wonderful hands brought her immense happiness. 

When she finally reached Lily's new headquarters, Maria walked up to the super sexy lady herself and gave her a warm hug, and handed her a fine bottle of Californian Zinfandel from a recent business trip to Napa Valley, where she'd been discussing supplies of the wine for an upcoming business venture. 

"Congratulations on your move, love! As I am sure you know, Black Bottom is close to my heart, and the district couldn't be in safer hands. After the good Doctor and I left the district, I was hoping that this day would come and that we would see you take on the district to make it your own and I couldn't be more confident that you will do something amazing here. I remember the stories my mother told me about your mother, Rita, and how wonderful she was, and I'm sure that you'll follow in her footsteps. You know where I am if you need anything - Chicago is just a hop, skip and a jump away and you will always have friends there."
