Morina, twelve of age, in middle of fight between foster parents. Looks up at both of them, not fully understanding the situation he was in. The yelling was loud on both sides, but Morina doesn't make a sound, only watches. After a few minutes of bickering about nonsense that their financial life had come to a very bad situation. The foster mother looks at Morina, was only her that cared enough about him, the father on the other hand, only saw Morina as a nuisance, it was quite ironic, because Morina's real parents were close friends with the current foster father. Eleven years back, Morina's real parents were into the business of organized crime. But things ended up badly for the poor couple, their time, like anyone else's, had come to a close. An operation gone amateur, leaving tracks to Morina's parents at that time. In this thing of ours, revenge was a normal move, resulting in Morina's parents, dying. Luckily enough Morina, was being watched by a few friends of his late parent's at that time. The boss of the family that Morina's parents were in was a very understanding individual for cases like Morina's that had no roof nor parents, nor anything anymore. Morina's current foster parents stepped up to watch over Morina, until he became old enough to walk on his own two feet, more precisely his foster mother stepped up, his foster father was hesitant at that time. Back then they had good financial backing because they were inside the organized crime also. But as soon they got Morina under their household, They ended up resigning from the mafia life. Back to the current time. Although he was old enough to know some things. He ignores the look his foster mother gives him, it wasn't intentional, just way too telling should he play over there, or go to his room. Morina, walks away from them. Without realizing he had done so, making his way to the front door of the house and going outside. It was snowing. Morina didn't know of his past. It was too soon to be told of everything considering his situation. Looking up at the snowing sky. Morina closes his eyes, as the snow falls on his cheek creating a melting snow waterline, as if his very soul was crying. He sighs and turns his head right then left, but sees no one, the coast was clear, as he made his way over to the bench to sit. Few minutes pass by, his foster mother comes out, giving Morina a warm hug. Morina on the other hand, clueless but accepting and, hugs her back regardless. Few days pass. A knock on the front door, Morina yells that he is going to open the door, to see who it was. Morina opens the door slowly. A tall man in black attire stood there, he glanced down at Morina, and pats his head as he walks inside as if he owned the place. Morina looks up at him confused because he hadn't seen the person before. Morina's foster mother was alone at that time, the father had been gone out since morning. Morina's foster mother comes out, a sweat down her cheek could be seen as she realized who the man in black was. As if dazed she points to the living room, they both make their way over, and sit down as Morina makes his way to the kitchen to watch television. The conversation was that of a calm but intense topic, the topic being Morina. The man in black telling his foster-mother that it's time for him to become a man, also thanking for the fact that she has cared for him for all these years like he was her own son. Morina's foster mother not saying a word, only listening to the man in black. Lowers her head a little, acknowledging everything he said. She quietly approves of him taking Morina, was perfectly aware that the life Morina had with her was not enough. They could barely make a living like that. Morina being in the care of the family on the other hand. Could make his life better. There was a code in the family that one needs to strictly be over eighteen to wield a gun. The conversation came to a hold when Morina walks in the living room. Asks about the man in black, trying to get an answer out his foster mother. She says that he is a friend. But the man in black doesn't hold back, first he does is warn his foster mother that it's time for him to know, so he won't be interrupted when he begins explaining to Morina about his family, and who he is. Two hours pass by. Morina listening to him until the end. A few drops of tears falling down his cheek, as the man in black was at the end of his story about Morina's parents, keeping himself steady not to cause any commotion, forcefully trying to keep his tears from falling. At that very moment, Morina making sense to everything that is going on around him. Becoming fully aware of his life. The man in black sees that Morina is willing. Directly talking to him, not through his foster mother or anyone else. Asks, if he wants to come and join the family his parents use to be in, revenge was also possible. Morina, wipes off the tears from under his eyes, and the stream down his cheek. Looks at his foster mother for a moment, giving her a warm smile. As soon as she noticed his smile, she smiles back. Morina's luggage having already been prepared before, his foster mother knew that this day would come any time now, she was ready. The man in black, stands up. Takes the luggage on one hand, the other one stretching it slightly wide, signaling Morina to grab on to it, Morina grabs a hold on to his hand. Both make it out of the house and into the streets. Eleven years had past by of luxury and fun around him. Morina in that time span never once turned away from his main goal, and he never did enjoy his life of luxury. He always watched his own steps with whatever he did, modesty was his primary attitude, and he visited his foster mother whenever he had the chance, along with providing her with the financial help she needed. Morina always kept her husband in check for fear that he would cause trouble for her. From time to time the man in black still came around, the one who gave tasks to Morina to complete for the family, and it seemed that the time had finally come. After all those years, Morina had finally gotten a full understanding of what happened during that time, what caused the death of his family and the source of it. Tasked in going alone for this run, to Morina was given a piece of paper containing the layout and every other information about the mansion he was heading to, from how many bodyguards were present there to the equipment they had. He takes a step backwards, turning to make his way to his room to get the weapons that he needed for this occasion. A brief case full of mk-2 and two tommy guns lay just inside, and Morina grabbed them, with both of his hand pre-occupied, he makes his way outside, and puts them inside the car. Morina closes the back seat door, and opens the front right after. He goes inside the car, turning it on, and hastily takes off. Morina reminds himself of the information that had gotten on his target from a mutual friend. The information was good and just what he needed. Morina comes into plain view, he sees a large mansion, and he was surprised at how correct the information was, only a few guards present he noted. There were a few watchmen outside, but Morina didn’t care about being stealthy he just wanted them dead. He slams on the breaks, and gets out of the car, and quickly opens the door to the backseat, he opens the briefcase, and puts on the belt of the mk-2, and takes the Tommy guns with him. He throws the two grenades attached to his belt at the watchmen that are at the front entrance, other watchmen began to make their way over to investigate the commotion. Morina shoots them as they make their appearance. One of the guards shoots Morina in the leg; he decides to deal with it later and after fifteen minutes of fighting, the mansion was in complete and total chaos. Morina, puts one of his tommy guns down, to free his hand, he wipes off his sweat soaked face, so that he could get a good look at his leg, its bleeding heavily Morina rips off a piece of cloth from his coat and ties a tourniquet around his leg to stop the bleeding, he grinds his teeth as he stands up, and gathers his guns again. Morina felt a rush; he hit everyone that crossed his path, as he made his way inside. The information had been right. Not many people were inside. The commotion outside had alerted everyone, well mostly. Luckily, Morina got out of it with a minor leg wound, but the blood loss had been going on for quite some time. He hastily checks every room and finds the main target the coward hiding in one. Morina looks him in the eyes, the target tries to put on a brave front, trying to act tough, but fear rolled off him in waves. Morina saw the drops of sweat falling down his cheek, as he got closer to him. Morina puts the two tommy guns, and bullets down. He picks up a grenade, he grabs the bastard by his throat, and forcefully shoves the it in his mouth, he pats the man on the cheek as he smiles before taking it out of his mouth. “You should try to relax.” Morina says he tales a few step backwards and removes the safety pin, “Catch!” Morina yells as he dives out the window, and rolls to safety, the whole room explodes blowing the man to pieces. Morina slowly makes his to his car walking like a drunk man in a haze, his wounded leg dragging behind him. He sees a structural pillar, and leans against it. He is covered in blood, and sweat. His leg can no longer support him, he slides down the pillar with unshed tears in his eyes thinking of his mother, and father, the people he did this for, but would never know. In enemy territory, the police sirens are heard in the distance, closing fast on the mansion. Morina was just out side, slowly his mind drifts, passing out from the blood loss. Morina woke-up, in his mind a few seconds had passed by, but in reality a few days had passed. He sees familiar faces all around him. Morina realizes that he was saved by his illusive friend, the man in black. He leans his head back onto the pillow, suprised he leans his head forward to look around and to figure out how he came to be where he was. The man in black sighs, and looks at Morina. Patting his shoulder for a bit before speaking his mind. Words of happiness could be heard out of the mans mouth, the man in black had been worried ever since Morina took off on his revenge course. Friends and family alike came to see how Morina was doing on his recuperation. The whole day was spent seeing people, people were in and out, the sun had gone down and night came to be. The man in black was sitting in a chair right across from where Morina was laying in bed. Morina not knowing the shocking truth that was going to change his life forever, was laying in bed, he never ever thought about his family ever since learning about his parents, all his head was filled with was how to get revenge for them. The man in black takes his time, telling his part in how he knew Morina's father and finally telling Morina that he was his blood uncle from the beginning. Morina at that very moment reminiscing about all those times the man in black came through for him finally knew the reasons behind it, Morina raises his hand, covering his eyes, so that his tears are not seen. The man in black sees this opportunity to get up and starts making his way out of the room, but before leaving, he miles at Morina, and also thanks him. After a bit, Morina manages to calm his down, and smiles as he looks up at the ceiling. The image there is that of his dead family and the new friends and family alike he had acquired through out his life. |
