An Ode to PaleRider Started by: BostonGeorge on Mar 29, '16 20:58

It was an average Tuesday afternoon at the headquarters in Downtown, Detroit where I sat without any plans for lunch. Whoreable had not come to my office with anymore work for the day so now was my chance to sneak out without anyone noticing. Out the drive way I went and to my favorite restaurant I would go.

Arriving at my restaurant of choice Luigi's World Famous Spaghetti house I have my door opened for me. I step out from my car and hand the keys over to the valet. I take a seat at an outside table for two, yet I sat alone. Luigi had brought out THE LARGEST plate of spaghetti, with two forks, but i sit here starring at this plate made for two.

I look up in disgust with Luigi at the site of his portions made for full families given out to single paying customers. With all of this food out in front of him and more on its way I began to get a little emotional.

Standing up from my seat I pulled a small piece of a paper from my pocket and began reciting it to the passersby.

This food was made for two, this food is not food without me and you!

It's not Whoreables fault I have this horrible thought, of eating this meal without you.

You'll arrive in the short bus and I will excite with a short rush.

PaleRider Baby Girl this poem is for you!

Anxiously looking around to see if anyone was actually paying attention to him having a moment. A moment passed and George took his seat and eagerly awaited to see if that special someone would join him for lunch.

Innocenza overhears the sweet poem adressed to palerider

That is the nicest poem I heard in a while!

Sigh.  I've written Palerider soooo many poems.  Never, oh never did Pale ever join me for lunch.

Wipes a tear.

I did not, however, share the poems.  So, maybe THAT was my mistake.

Clears his throat.

Pale, oh pale....you are so pale,

You need some color...it cannot fail.

With BostonGeorge you can have lunch,

Then come Sunday with us you'll brunch.

Checks with Via to see if that would be okay, then nods, and smiles.

We're all set.
