Through the Agents representing and acting on behalf of the Silk Glove, they liberate you from your own worst instincts, and through this process you can be molded into better people, the kind worthy of joining the new community within this thing of ours. After years of neglect and abuse, a mafiosi's conscience has often withered away. As an Agent of the Silk Glove, we find the strength to occasionally perform acts of mercy where these degenerates are concerned.

WiggleFanGirl4Lyfe moans endlessly about evil underground groups and Duke's bullshit.
TheTripleDeuce admires all forms of emerging business.

WiggleFanGirl4Lyfe boasts about his seemingly endless connections, and his current status in the community.
TheTripleDeuce recognizes that WiggleFanGirl4Lyfe's rightful place is at the bottom of the corporate hierarchy.

Well this has been an interesting turn of events! I dont know where we go from here! 

The Silk Glove truly do act for the betterment of society. They exist to cleanse the streets of the impure and unworthy. I have no doubt they will return in the near future to help liberate the community.

We reach out to those who have been housed in what are simply poor excuses for families. Many mobsters are bored of the recurring shit-cycle which sees the same lines receive auth time and time again. Has it occurred to you that those who get the nod have gotten it because they have earned it? Because they, and yes their bloodlines before them, have proven their ability to lead successful families? If you want to go rogue and start your own family that is your business but stop the bullshit and call it what it is. If you truly feel the system is broken and that is why you are doing it, well face the consequences and don't cry about how our leaders are big bad bullies when you do.

This thing of ours isn't a peaceful endeavor and it is disingenuous at best to try and claim what you are doing is to somehow benefit the community - it is a power play plain and simple so call it what it is. I would still think your are a fool, but at least then I could have respect for you as a fool who honest. 

I was going to leave this alone but John, do you think that everyone's standards are the same? Earning it is such a vague thing because views change. No one will feel like everyone earns something. Not to mention that some do get auth just because they managed to make it alive and there was no one better to choose at the time. Not saying the current leaders are but just saying that it has happened before. So it is safe to assume it is not always the case of earning it.

Different people have different set of standards or values that they look for. So this topic could be argued non stop and in circles.

I see your point Cin, but I think I may not have been clear in mine. If someone wants to challenge the current leadership that is their right and while I personally feel it would be foolish for them to do so unless they are coming from a much stronger position than the current set of folks are coming from I would respect that they are simply taking part in this thing of ours by making a power grab. 

My issue with this current ilk that is making a power play is that they are trying to hide it in something else. Look, if they think they would make better leaders they are free to try - and of course myself and others loyal to the current leadership are fee to fight them - , but don't try to claim you are somehow liberating me or doing it for the good of the community. They are doing it because they want to be the boss instead of the followers. When they try to hide it in a lot of flowery words I lose the respect I would have for them if they simply stated their intentions openly. 

I'm gunna be quite straightforward here like I always am...

The reason The Silk Glove exsists:

• The constant blood-lining of siblings whose brother makes one wrong move.
• Re-occurring families like Maria , Tyrion, BostonGeorge etc... etc...(If they say they earned it then LOL)
• We just don't currently like the leadership and while SpikeS and his croonies keep shooting people whose gun get too big, we can't build to properly take over, so we will launch little rogues to take out their members.

I think it's safe to say, if they ACTUALLY cared about their members they would openly come out, declare the bullshit they've done and then promise to change their ways,

They won't let anyone build a gun, if someone gun rises above a certain number the kill them, it's as simple as that. If they try to disagree with that then just look at the obits and see BigAL.

Another point to make, none of the Silk Glove members put up any big hitlist money, that was other people looking us to shoot those they didn't like. Although we apologize for the fact we didn't take any of them out, as most of them got prowacks.

We will work out the kinks for the next time, we are not always shooting with 150 guns, we are just in a process of building our cause and as we get more support then The Silk Glove will start to tackle bigger and better targets.

Maria got authed as like a made man or was it capo? I can't remember now but it was something stupid like that, how does someone that is that rank "work hard for their city". It's a joke. 

I don't mind the likes of BostonGeorge and Tyrion, they saw and opportunity and took it, I would do the same, have done in the past. Although it's a continuous cycle. 

They won't actually auth the people that are working hard for them, the earners, the guns etc...

While I understand the hatred of seeing the same people constantly put in bold (mainly because I hate it too), I just can't get past how that makes them a bad leader. If all that makes them a bad leader is that they went bold at a low rank then we need to look at everyone who ever went bold because there were a lot of them.

Hell one of my ancestors was placed in her bold suit at Made Man. Did she earn it? Hell yes. Do I care if you think so? No probably not. But my point is there is a lot you can do in such a short period of time to earn things. Whether it be earning your rank, to earning your leaders trust, it is possible.

Can I tell you if she earned her auth? Nope, I was in no way a part of The Morningwood Elite at the time. In fact I don't think I was around until after Maria was bold. Only thing I can tell you is that she is not a bad leader.

I don't remember stating that anyone was a 'bad leader' all I said was "did they deserve it?".

I couldn't tell you who is or isn't a bad leader because I haven't been in their family. All I can say is that certain leaders are making bad decisions and that in-turn is why The Silk Glove exists.

I'm sure someone will one day. Might not be today but everyone's time comes eventually.
