Now bear with me here, but I do believe it will be a very profitable ad on.

Now if a player wishes to earn money through a business like, lets say a player run Insurance company then they could set up one in the business section of their city right now, correct? But that company would be restricted by the city and would have to be posted on to be seen by most people, and spamming isn't too well looked upon. but what if you could create a National business that isn't restricted into a city, or a forum that needs posting. Maybe into the manage section would this be the best area, but once you have a big enough corp that gets a major profit you can op to have it entered into the stocks (when MRSE reopens) for a fairly hefty fee, say 10 or 15 million. would be good. And once entered into MRSE people can buy it's stock and the owner can own his own majority share, as expected of course, but if they get tired of the bussle then they can post in a new forum that is for business news for this idea of Corporations and or companies, this can also profit those who don't want to own their own business as it could be run like a crew except as a business crew, and of course it can be a same crew corporation that a CL can run.

Now a major con comes to mind, it is the money ironicly, but there of course should be a cap to how much a single person can make with out having a outsource of the money such as employees and operational costs. Another con that i can see people pointing out that i haven't explained fairly well is that these businesses have to relate to something that can be used in the game, this can be a Banking system or even a News system, and of course as a mentioned a Insurance agency. This all of course would have rules that the game implies as well as city rules that the godfathers and mothers dictate, and finaly the owners own rules.

Please excuse the crampness of this but I was trying to get my Ideas of this down fast before i forgot them, but read it as it is an idea that i feel is very beneficial for us. Thank you for your time for Reading and Replying.

One quick problem, if you have a corporation across America, earning you money, surely the other cities would at least tax you?

For instance, I open a business and it becomes a corporation. I'm now funnelling my ill gotten gains from 7 other cities, do you think the other GFs will sit back and allow me to make money in their city that their own people would be better off earning?

As you say, it would have to be a corporation, surely a corporation would only be formed because of iuts success. You would have to put time and effort into it, making it popular, getting people to post in it etc. Only when its a popular thread should you be allowed to open in other cities.

I've seen business threads repeated in several cities that only get 5 or 6 posts at most, because lets face it, they're poorly written. I think Characters should be fined for this, and the business declared Bankrupt because it makes the Business districts unsightly. Lets face it, if you have 8 Deli's, one in every city, and you don't keep your customers happy, and no one posts in it, your stock will go off and you will be out of pocket. There should in that case also be a set up cost for a business, of say 25k or 50k or whatever to help discourage people from opening crap businesses.

Having Nation wide Corporations would require a major re-write of code, for something very limited. However I'd still like to see people's businesses go Bankrupt because they are of poor design or aren't popular :D
