So what if the Right Hand and Left Hand are both too low ranked? |

This one has been discussed many times before, normally to a positive reaction. |

I just want to clearify something though, i feel a LHM and RHM is for made man and higher... with just one exception... that is if he dies in the event of war his kin could carry one of those positions. |

I agree with this greatly, it's how the mob works in RL. |

Fabulous Idea, If the RHM wasn't above Made Man it could go to the LHM and if he wasn't high enough then it gets disbanned. Zuldazar thinks then that will make leaders realise to have Made Man + as their RHM/LHM's. |

There's another aspect to this that nobody has so far talked about, and that is that this kind of system would inevitably lead to internal power struggles, which I actually quite like! |

A good idea and well thought out. I hope that this would be implemented |

Yes Fredio, but in this case the RHM would have to get the entire crew with him. I am not sure the crew would follow him on such adventure unless the CL in question is'nt liked by his own crew. Hmmm... it would surely make things interesting though! |

I am just going to go ahead and put this out there...Nine times out of ten, if the CL dies of natural causes(wackback, suicide, retire, etc) and not war, the RHM takes over anyways. However, in war, the RHM and LHM are usually wiped out. In fact, they are usually taken out before the CL. Either because they are hitters or because they are prowackers, depending on the family. Hardcoding this into the game would be useless and would take freedom of choice from the Godfather/Mother. For instance, if an entire family is incompetent(tends to happen with a shitty leader) and the Godfather/Mother shoots the CL, they probably would not want the RHM to take over. Another thing, this suggestion would cause a lot of money to stick in the game. Mainly because when a family dies, someone buys an HQ to replace the family. If it just passed on to the RHM or LHM, the roughly $15,000,000 it costs to buy an HQ would still be around in a game. That, in my opinion, would cause more problems than it's worth. |

I see it as a great idea, a (no-brainer honestly) with limited to no setbacks. Simply because no matter who takes over RHM or LHM or LHM after a RHM. The family still holds the discretion of being able to wipe them out. As far as "overthrowing a leader" is concerned - of course - it happens. If a leader is doing a shotty job and all members are unhappy, no resolve in sight, and unwilling to step down then he/she should be overthrown. Furthermore, it takes more than just 1 rogue person to accomplish such a feat and would ensure a greater amount of trust and more importantly (relation) with those who are put in charge. Instead of - "Oh drats, this person wasn't what I assumed they were. Now I have to rid the lot." |
