Hello, apologies if this has been mentioned before. I have looked in the past and not seen it, and have tried to keep up with the suggestions, and not seen ot it so let me begin.

When you die you lose everything, and whilst I know most things that some people would like will probably never ever happen there are a few things I think you should get, I do not think the coding will be very difficult at all for it, and they may even be considered so I shall post them and see what happens.

Firstly your contacts, they are all removed, and lost. I would not like to see them saved (maybe the new character wants a new start or maybe one of them backstabbed you). However I would like maybe an automated message when I create a new character, something allong the lines of "Hey, I know it will be hard on you since Son_of_a_bomb died. You might not know where to turn in this crazy world. However there are a few friends of his that might be able to offer you guidence:

List names here"

Or something like that. I am not highly popular so for me it isn't that hard to remember all my buddies, but for some more friendly people it may be.

Another thing, whilst on this topic, is the users who have added you to their contacts. It would be nice to only show the LIVING contacts, as I said I do not have many contacts (and already 2 are dead, which clutters up the list) but if I had say 20 contacts in SL, then there was a war killing them, then they add me with new characters, it gets cluttered.

The final thing is mail. It would be nice to be able to mail dead people, whilst it sounds strange it would be helpful. If I die, and someone messages me, rather than say i am dead, maybe the message could be forwarded to my new account, (after all if my father died, then I would probably be able to access his post).

There just a few features which would make things easier, at least for myself.

I *totally* support the idea of the living contacts. It does get annoyingly cluttered after a while.

Yeah, I agree. I also have a few dead people in my contacts and then they've added me again with their new character. Gets confusing. I also support this idea!

This sounds very sensible. The lord knows it's hard enough to keep up with old friends if both you and them are killed in a war. 

the only thing is sometimes people dont want old friends on here to know who they are.

But they won't mails would be forwarded to the new account, but the new user won't have to reply. Or maybe it could be available until something like a week after their death.
