As you all know, New Orleans is a city that knows how to throw a party. I'm happy to announce that this coming Tuesday, we will be living up to this tradition. I invite all of you to come to New Orleans at midnight of the 16th for a day long celebration extravaganza. Details below.

JAIL POP 'TIL YOU DROP

That's right! From midnight to midnight- wire to wire, jails will be filled in the Big Easy! I'm paying the local chief of police (and an old drinking buddy) to fill the cells to provide people with the experience they need in planning a successful job. Every 20 minutes, if not sooner, jails will be filled to the brim!


Business Contest!

Payouts will be issued to all who have successfully participated in the New Orleans business bonanza- details currently echoing around in the streets! Simply put, one million dollars for EVERY business that proves its worth!


RP Contest

I expect many people to get in wacky adventures during the all day celebration. Whoever has the best/most interesting/exciting/unique/compelling experience DURING MARDI GRAS will be eligible to win! Third place will receive ONE million dollars! Second place will receive TWO million dollars! First place will receive THREE million dollars! (Note: Your story/RP has only a single condition: it must have to do with mardi gras in new orleans. Kates will pick her favorites for the winners after consulting with the New Orleans upper structure.)

Costume/Float contest

Part of the fun, of course, is dressing up. So I will award $200,000 EACH to the 10 people who have the BEST COSTUME (read: profile picture). The theme, of course, is Mardi Gras, but anything in the wide spectrum is eligible! To enter, mail Kates with "Costume Contest" as your subject so she can take a look at you!

Adelaide leans on a lamppost nearby, till her Godmother's speech is over. Smiling, she has an excited fire in her eyes and eagerly twirls a lock of hair around her finger.

Ah, breaking out mobsters from jail in my new dress. That will be fun indeed!
