Ricin walks up to the soapbox and pats it before taking the step up. Nerves were on full fire, but that was a good thing. Working under pressure is always a remedy for success. Lucretia had taken the time to invite every mafioso of worth to hear him introduce his family. People had already started to gather in front of the soap box as Ricin started to speak

Good day ladies and gentlemen,

First off, I would like to thank you all for your attention as I attempt to introduce my family. Any support at all is welcome and much appreciated.

As was announced last night in the Den of Sin Casino, Godmother Lucretia has given me clearance to set up my own faction within the Las Vegas city limits. Even hours later, I cannot express the gratitude I feel for being bestowed with such an honor. Las Vegas has flourished since the reign of Borgia began, and I am thankful to be able to be a key part in that transformation. Thank you Lucretia_Borgia, I promise to keep the same high standards that are becoming a trend.

This brings me to my family name. I have chosen to name my family The Scarabs. A scarab beetle in ancient Egypt symbolized the god Khepri, the god of the rising sun and transformation. I believe that this is a new dawn for our world. Things are beginning to change. I only hope that I can be a part of this change, and hopefully make our world a better place for everyone across the cities. I am thankful for the chance to show my worth among such greats.

This is a shining chance for myself and my family, and I plan to make the most of it. I hope to have a long and successful career within Las Vegas, and look forward to working with the rest of the city leaders to keep the same high standards that the rest represent now. I cannot promise anything grand but I give me word, I will do everything to be best of my ability.

Now I will answer a question that have been posed to me by multiple people.

Q) "Ricin, you were quoted in the coffee shops as saying "I would meet god before I took auto".

A) Simple, I did indeed meet god. I know, your all fairly jealous of not being invited onto cloud 9 3/4 to have a coffee break with the big guy. He assured me that it was ordained for me to set up within Las Vegas and accomplish great things. That it was necessary for my bloodline to do this again. Who am I to disobey god?

Phelix, being a casino owner himself, has always known great things happened inside casino doors. Sit beside the magical slots, listen to their fairy like chimes ring out as people win or lose. Watch the hypnotic spin of the roulette wheel as it bounces the ball around and around. Or even attempt to follow the strategy of the blackjack hands. All of these things, all these great things, were nothing compared to what would happen behind closed doors.

Congratulations, Ricin. Well deserved. It's good to see your bloodline grab up a leading role again. Always a nice time.

He hands the man a key to the Grand Sphinx Casino's private hotel, and walks off.

SuperSao stands silently behind Ricin. He listens to his slightly nervous boss make his very important speech. He steps up beside Ricin and places a manly hand on his shoulder. Sao finishes off his beer, and tosses the bottle in the nearest trash can before he speaks with his new boss.

Ricin...what is there to say about Ricin. My friend, our bloodline has been close almost since my family came to these shores. Our fathers have been together countless times. I would not prefer to work so closely with almost anyone. You are truly one of my best friends.

I am proud that you have made me your Right Hand Man. For this position, I am willing to look past what you do with your right hand from time to time. I actually have nightmares because of it...but nonetheless I am your man.
