I scanned through a bit and didn't find anything close to this so excuse me if I do repeat someone. My idea is for the CL to be able to set his SCLs like I would my RH and LH. Then when those SCLs have their crew below, those in the crew would see their SCLs name as a tribute in the bank area. Of course they would still be able to pay tribute to the CL, but the CL should he choose could set a daily or a weekly tribute on each of his SCLs. In turn the SCLs would set a daily or weekly tax on his crew below him. So in other words my idea is, crew pays the SCLs, they pay the Don, instead of hundreds of tributes weekly. |

The main issue here is, not all families operate a SCL system. |

I understand what you are saying sir, and I have no idea how difficult it would be to code something like this. This feature would not have to be used, it could be there if the CL decided to use SCLs. If they CL decides not to use any sub crews, then he wouldn't have to put any names in there. I am just thinking of a more structured way of paying tribute. I am not going to say I know everything there is to know about this way of life but it seems you would see a thug or gangster walking up and actually handing a envelope of cash to a Don. It seems he would pay his capo, then from there the Capo would pay tribute. And I see what your saying about the RP side of it, and I understand. I could set a tax on my SCLs weekly and have them collect from their associates. The only problem with it, is that it wouldn't keep track of the associates earnings if they were sending to their SCL, and then when the SCL sends the money in, it would appear he's earned a lot more then he actually has.. I dunno, thanks for replying tho Deimne! |

*waves to Godmother Kates* I don't know much about coding so I am not sure. I know a CL can set an amount each crew is to pay daily/weekly, but it won't show up on the associates "earnings" if they send to their crew leader. As Godfather Deimne pointed out the CL can easily RP this, but unfortunately I wouldn't have a clue how to track the earnings if they do not send it straight to the CL. |

Most families have a Financial advisor or something of the like. How about if this person could be the one who recieves all the family tributes. Just like you tribute your CL, instead of actually tributing your CL, it goes to the 'financial advisor?' The family advisor would have to be someone trustworthy so they don't steal all the moniez for BG's etc.. He would then be the one who sent the money to the CL like once a day or whatever... |

Another idea is a crew bank account where all tributes are thrown into. this would be useful to show the crews wealth as a whole too personal "event" notifications could be given to the crew leader, RHM, LHM and such Edit: same idea as Erratic :) |

All great ideas. I like the idea of a crew bank. The SCL could store crew funds for BGs or w/e. Of course CL should have access. |

This is exactly the system I ran when I was bold - it can be roleplayed out very very easily, with no need for changes to the code that would force it on everyone. |

As I said this is not to force anyone to run their family in any particular way, just an option should a CL choose to use sub crews and should said CL choose to have his tributes sent up channels. |

As TL has pointed out, this can already be rp'd perfectly without a need for hardcoding. As can many other financial systems for families to use. The idea of hardcoding one potential system, which is prioritising it over any other system isn't something I believe is beneficial. |
