just curious if anyone can tell me why many of the high and important ranks are not voting?

even the half admins with player accounts do not seem to vote much.. who can argue with free money and ranking points?

I have noticed that voting gives major ranking points.. are the points given from voting less quality vs the ones given by crimes and drugs?

Maybe you should ask those people. Don't think anyone can speak for them other then themselves.

If people are not voting then it is up to them. If they do not vote then they dont recieve the extra money or points. Their loss really.

To Zuldazar's Knowledge, Voting doesn't give as good as crimes and drugs.

However as for the higher ranked people they could be busy and not notice they have votes ready. But other then that Zuldazar doesn't have any idea why the high rankers aren't voting.

A lot of the time the sites do not work for me therefore I do not wish to be mistakenly suspected of vote fraud. :D

to the others thanks but Zuldazar I dont think its a case of not seeing them, how could they not? I vote mostly because those things are annoying up there.

even so some of the highest ranks ect have 0 votes which would be hard to pull off unless they were avoiding clicking

I have no clue how many points you get for what, but what os obvious that it all adds up. So no punishment there.

Fish, what do you mean by high rankers?

i do not know a lot about this but i think that vote points helps in getting promoted thus having the rank of GF or consig they might not need the points for they are already at the top of the chain...  and a good 30 or 40k is nothing to them for they get in thousands and millions each day.

High ranker's have nothing to gain via ranking, therefore become selfish and all out for themselves, not for the game database (more users etc) ...that's my answer, I may be wrong, I hope I am.

Prove it? you can't, no one knows how much voting gives you, so I think claiming something that may not be true is unfair and very silly. No offence, just making a point.
I don't see voting as bettering myself, rather like better the game, having more users betters us all in the long run, so vote, have fun, and enjoy a bigger user based game.

strangulation, with respect it is simple to see voting gives many points if one were to count the amount of crimes needed to rank to an easy rank such as Goomba, with and without voting. Try it and you will see voting helps greatly.

CrazyNine, eventually all points add up but if one who was a common voter were to war an equal rank which did not vote at all (and points were not equal) it is easy to see the non voter would have a great advantage

It all depends on my mood, whether I want to put up with the crashing of my browser while opening specific +'s or not.

I have to admit that i stopped voting when one of the links caused my Anti-Virus to block a Trojan horse.

I let it go once as it was caught and it's probably no big deal anyway, but it put me off.

In hindsight I should have collated the details for Squishy and co, so, sorry about that Squishy. Kinda put me off though.
