SpikeS strolls out on the street with Lily.

So, Lily, today is the day you grow up in the world, much like WiGgLEfANGIrl4LyfE and your wife @Ralyn. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. A bunch of people have been waiting for this for you, especially after the death of your mother. This has been part of our master plan for you for four months, and it is satisfied.

It has been a fantastic journey, and will continue to be fantastic… but not so much a journey moving forward. We are at our destination, surrounded by family like your sister Lucrezia, and friends like the fair turkeyfeathered DoctorBoom.

I am proud to have you take on the role of Godmother in my city, and I couldn’t think of a better person for the job.

SpikeS strolls right into the bar.

Congrats Lily.  Well deserved.  You have made Detroit proud.  

Walter_Junior had like everyone else heard of the exciting news, and decided to pay his respect to the new Godmother.

He was as usual walking rather slow using both crutches and as he approached Lily he said;

"Co-co-congratulations Godmother Lily. This is very well desereved, and you have made us all proud by being who you are. 

I will be looking forward to see what more you have to offer. Best of luck!"

After a quick handshake, Walter_Junior decided to step aside and let the rest pass by him and pay their respect likewise.

George walks over and hands a couple gifts to Godmother Lily, a box of fresh cigars and a bottle of the finest moonshine available during prohibition. Setting the gifts down George made his way over and shook hands with the newly appointed Godmother.

It has been an honor and privilege to work here with you in Detroit, like I just told you privately it feels like it was just the other day WIll and I were gloating about boys day finally arriving in Downtown. We missed your presence automatically, but knew you were off to bigger and better things.

Here we stand in support of you today for your great achievement, keep up the good work!

Congratulation on becoming the Godmother of Black Bottom Lily!

This is proof that hard work can and does pay off.

He saw the envelope sitting on his desk when he walked into his office. Looking over at the wall clock.. he picked up the envelope and the letter opener. Tearing the top off the envelope, he takes out the piece of paper and reads it.. "Tyler will be in town with his crew tomorrow.."

The date on the calendar had been circled for quite some time. He realized today was an important day. Picking up the phone.. he makes a quick call and then hurries out the door. 

Pulling up to the side of Lily's HQ.. he rushes onto the street where he sees SpikeS and Lily walking about. A crowd growing as he could hear SpikeS speaking out to the crowd. This was a day that many had waited for. It meant a great deal to Lily.. it also meant a great deal to BigHurt and the rest of Black Bottom... let's not leave out the entire city of Detroit.

BigHurt stands on a lonesome soap box, near the crowd, and clears his throat.. he knew he would have to shout a bit..

"God Mother Lily! Congratulations.. I hope you can hear me from over here. There are an awful lot of people here to see this, and I don't want to be rude and push everyone out of the way."

"Thank you for everything you do.. I'm excited for our future here in Black Bottom! We'll talk soon.." he finishes with a wink and a smile, then steps down from the soap box and strolls over to the bar that SpikeS had just walked into. 

My dear Lily congratulations on your new rank and title.  I know it has been a hard road on your way up to this point here, but that fact that you still stand triumph is a true testament to your  character.  You have the vision, attitude, and grace to truly help build SpikeS something special.

Again, congratulations Lily.  You had earned this long before today, but it is nice to finally see you officially wearing the ring.  Thank you for everything you have done for my friend SpikeS, as well what you have done for myself and Chicago.  If you ever need anything do not hesitate to find us.

I'm confused are they getting married I thought spike was godfather you can t have 2 gods right in one city

Miss_Niki had flown to Los Angeles in honor of Lily being granted Godmother. She went to Rita's bakery and got some of those special spiced Carrot Cake Muffins and brought back with her and presented them to Lily as a token. 

"Lily, my grandmother spoke very highly of your mother, Rita,  in her journals. She said that your mother Rita taught her many ways of this world, and I felt only befitting, this momentous occasion be celebrated by a gift from your mother's bakery. I'm so happy to see you have obtained Godmother. You richly deserve the honor bestowed upon you. May you live a very long and prosperous life." When she was finished speaking, Miss_Niki bowed and kissed the newly appointed Godmother's ring. She smiled and backed up so other well wishers could give their congratulations as well.
