Pop!

It was loud enough to wake up the entire neighborhood. Scattering from their houses the people quickly realized that the commotion was something they had wished they never went to look for, it was a sight to behold, an Owl the size of a man, or maybe a man dressed as an Owl; hunched over what looked to be a variety of firecrackers and dead mice. 

"Yes, yes! It's perfect. Perfect. I...", staring up at the growing crowd he flashed his award winning smile and quickly swept up all of the guts and burnt pieces of carcass. It was time for him to make the announcement! Quickly pushing past all of the people he walked to where Viviana was now standing. She looked confused, which was normal for these sorts of situations. Soon though, everything would be clear.

"Now that I, ehem, have all of your attention. I am proud to announce that New York will be growing a bit more today, as Viviana will be taking the helm of her very own crew."

Lining up a few firecrackers he quickly sets them off in the shape of what he had hoped would be a 'Congratulations' but instead ended up starting a nearby house fire instead. Woops.

"Well that's what firefighters are for, they have to get paid somehow..."

Regaining his concentration and ignoring the blazing flames behind him, he looked over to Viviana and gave a thumbs up.

"You've done great things, and these will surely continue.", letting off on last hoot he walked over to Rayln who had listened and supported the decision and away from the building which was now starting to collapse. It was time to usher in a new era in the Bronx, and Viviana would be the perfect addition.

Today started out like any other day. She’d gotten word that MrOwl was out pulling some sort of shenanigans in the street and she’d headed out to see what he had gotten himself into. Looking confused, she walked up to her boss with the usual questions about why he was doing the things he was doing. This time, his answer surprised her.

She was distracted by the erroneous fireworks that set a nearby house on fire and she made a mental note to send an apology to the home owners. Turnings back to MrOwl and their godmother, Rayln, she grinned. "Thank you for the opportunity and for giving me a chance to make New York proud. I have just the place in mind!”

One of the things that Viviana had noticed since relocating to the Bronx is that since Hooters was founded there had been a notable change in the type of people that seemed to hang around their headquarters. There seemed to be an odd number of women who were, well…shall we say well endowed? Viviana didn’t particularly care one way or the other, but since their family had grown she’d been looking for a way to…even the odds a bit. After all, it seemed only fair.

That’s when she’d happened upon a brilliant idea that involved some well sculpted men, food and of course booze. Since her focus had been on her work there hadn’t been much time to turn the idea into a business, but  when MrOwl had given her the heads up to start preparing a place of her own, well…why not?

Walking up to a slightly rumpled looking building, Viviana looked out at the crowd that included her new hands Edward and Rathbone.“Welcome everyone! It doesn’t look like much now, but with a little we’ll get it off the ground and it will be glorious.”  The one new addition to the building was a name, in big red letters:

Tallywackers

She blinked a few times as she watched bits of the Bronx burn and was confused because she thought for sure that was her job. But he bit her tongue and listened as the giant man owl spoke. She grinned and hugged Viviana, "Congratulations, I know how hard you've worked and you have certainly earned this chance. Besides, hot men? I'll be visiting the Bronx more in the future, I think." she told her with a wink before waddling off to call the fire department. 

Mac was at home taking a shower when he started smelling smoke and then he noticed that his apartment was on fire. He runs out of the apartment with a towel wondering what the hell was going on. He notices that all of The Bronx is on fire is this the end? He thought then he sees Mr.Owl congratulating Viviana and it all makes sense well..sort of

"Congrats Viviana!"

Sifting through the crowd, Rathbone listened as Viviana made her announcement. At the word "shenanigans", Rathbone grinned. He looked around at the others listening and cackled like a schoolboy as soon as she mentioned "Tallywackers". It was a most fitting name and Rathbone, being the man-child that he was, was proud to represent it. A moment later, he listened as Godmother Rayln and his former fellow associate, MacMcdonald, offered up their congratulations. After they finished speaking, Rathbone stepped forward and spoke...

"Congratulations, Viviana! I know from speaking with you that you will make a fine leader and I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with you. I have certainly enjoyed my time working with you and MrOwl and I look forward to the future in this fine borough of the Bronx."

After a short speech, Rathbone grinned, then looked around into the crowd  and waited to listen to others that would offer up their kind words to his new leader. As he moved past MacMcdonald, he considered snatching his wallet, but was unfortunately noticed by the Hooters associate.

"I know Edward is around here somewhere...", Rathbone mused to himself, "I'll just find him and nick his cash instead." 

And with that, Rathbone moved backwards to blend in with the rest of the crowd.

Frank took a small time out from trying to find the bottom of the bottle (well OK, he just multitasked and kept trying to find it) to stumble into the crowd to find Vivianna being given the nod to set up her own crew.  

" @Vivianna , New York is growing - and the two of us will play an important role in making this city grander!  I know we'll do great!Rayln had better start baking some more muffins!"

With that said, Frank places the bottle back to his lips and stumbles off back to Manhatten.

Viviana! This has been a long time coming! MrOwl is so happy, so happy. He could not have a better person by his side. 

Tommo was new around these streets and had been instructed by Edward to attend this announcement. He wanted to keep his head down, show his respect and get out. He saw Viviana and walked towards her apprehensively. Facing Viviana he puts out a hand and speaks.

"Hey there, congratulations on this great news. I just wanted you to know that I am Edwards new associate and i will be doing my very best to help you guys start out." Tommo Hands her a piece of paper "This is my number, if you need anything, ever, just call me."
