| Able To Quit the Shooting Range | Started by: The_JesTer on Feb 23, '10 09:30 |

Well I have been carrying this suggestion for some while now, but since this has happened with me twice in the past and I have not seen any thread discussing this suggestion either. " Well couple of days ago I started training in the range and after 20 minutes or so the TylerDurden crew popped up, and because I was training in the range , I couldnt do anything but spectate all of them dying. And when I was able to shoot then there were none of them left" so here is what I suggest that there should be an option to cancel your "Shooting Range" and make it that you loose half of your money or even all of it for canceling it and leaving it in the middle. This can be useful specially in times of war or any important events that pop up unannounced and you need to fly or shoot . If there are many of us who have faced this problem, and can come up with it in this thread, then I think this suggestion will deserve some consideration. |

I've heard this one suggested behind closed doors before, but the first time I've seen it in public. |

Thank you for supporting my idea, and I think sometimes there are events when money is not that important then the event itself, and thats where this suggestion can come into play. |

Realistically, there would be no reason why a person couldn't simply put their gun down and walk out of a shooting range to go shoot Durdens or aid their family in a war. For the sake of the game though, I would have to disagree that this is a good idea. I find ranges to be horribly inconvenient and tedious, especially when trying to fit multiple ranges into a day. But considering that the ranges serve as a means to strengthen one's gun, I think making them more convenient to the player would serve as a disservice to the integrity of the game. Not everything should be convenient for the player. Some things should suck, for instance doing ranges. Don't get me wrong, examples such as the one you cited with a Durden breakout wg=hen you've just started at the range annoy me as well, but like Deimne stated you need to accept the consequences when taking an action in this game, ranges included. Besides, who wants a bunch of untrained guns firing at Durdens and giving tem 4 hour pros? Max your goddam ranges and then shoot Durdens!!! :P |

Personally I feel this falls under the same heading as wasting your attack picking pockets. If you decide to go to the range and you miss out on Tyler Durden's crew, or get stuck in a city at a time of war then that's just tough luck, it was your decision to do the range and you have to live with the consequences. |
