Rank: Rogue Started by: Lagertha on May 19, '16 09:34

I had something slip into my head which I thought would be pretty neat idea...

When someone gets authed, a current leader in that city has some form/ a button... some way of clicking to approve said person will be getting authed now.

Getting authed (coding)

I don't know which would be an easy way to code this, would it be in the drop down box next to their name in the crew page and for the leader/godfather to do so that would automatically drop them and auth them in whichever district they belong too. Which would in-turn mean they would have to pay the person authing them for the HQ?

Or maybe a green light button that gave them permission to take auth for the next 3 - 5 hours.

I don't know too much about the coding but I'm sure the great minds that have created this game wouldn't have a problem with this if they liked the idea.

Someone going Rogue

If someone were to buy their own HQ without waiting for permission or getting it at all then their rank would change to Rogue (still attaining the skills of the rank they previously had, this idea is really only for cosmetic purposes) for a limited period of time, say 10 hours and then change back to their previous rank.

The reason this came into my head was the random mails about someone getting authed and "do not shoot".

I think this would give the game another little sub-dimension to it, like maybe the person in-charge isn't here to push your button you will have to wait it out.

If you happen to go against the grain and go rogue, then you will be branded for 10 hours letting everyone know your rogue, unless you survive longer. (I'm pretty sure some authed crewleaders would end up taking this route as well but at their own risk).

Report Post Tip

Rogue/Authed is a user based classification, not a game based one.  I think this is better to let the users handle it rather than put in a rigid Rogue/Not Rogue system by the game.

The more loose it is, the better it is easily used in any situation, in the present and in the future.  The more rigid it is, the less likely it fits into all situations, especially ones down the road.
