I think that if we have been playing this game for awhile and have made a certain rank, above made man, that we should be able to go straight to made man instead of having to do all the posts and stuff like most made men do.  I can understand past made man, but eh, it gets so boring just doing the crap to get to wise guy, let alone having to do more.  What's everyone else think?

.......... Are you serious?!?! Do you not have any idea of what MADE MAN means? I'm floored. Seriously, floored. It's not JUST a rank. It's your induction into "the family". Made Man is not something that should be taken lightly or treated the same as a frigging Gangster promotion. Each family has its own requirements for the rank. The decision is up to your BOSS. To be a Made Man is an HONOUR. It means you are not just an associate anymore. You have earned the trust and respect of the boss. You have PROVEN yourself worthy of the rank. You have EARNED it in their eyes.

Other than being stunned to the point of speechlessness, no, I do not think that the higher ranks, that are used to show people trust and want to work with you, should be some automated system.

I also think you should listen to your crewleader and do the "boring" stuff to prove you can do the more complicated things.

Also, on that note, when a crew leader or hand tells you what you need to do to get Made, it's unwise to run off to the streets or OOC in an awkward attempt to gain sympathy for your cause.

What utter rubbish. When you come in and are taken in as an assosiate you have to start from the bottom. It does not matter who your father/grandfather was. You are you and YOU MUST prove yourself to be accepted by the family that took you in.

Otherwise it is pointless having new members signing up and having to WORK when you do not.
