Pizza Capital Started by: Daba on May 28, '16 09:02

Daba smirks at Senza's comment.

Haha you know exactly why you're a troublemaker.

I'm glad you like the pizza. I'll send your compliment to the stuff.

Certainly I'll get your glass right away.

Daba returns with the glass of wine.

Here you go. Would you like anything else?

With a bad case of the Munchies Papi desperately searches for a fast-food joint.

Papi stumbles upon "Capital Pizza" and thought to himself what better way to cure the munchies than 6 Pizza's as he enters the fine establishment.

The joint seemed REALLY crowed but Papi decides Pizza was worth the wait and quickly found a seat.

As the waiter passes he calls to his attention.

"Excuse me Sir can I have 1 Cheese, 1 Grilled Chicken, and 4 Pineapple Pizzas and 4 Cold Beers to wash it all down please"

Daba smiles as he sees Papi stumble into his pizza shop.

Hey there. How are you doing buddy?

That is quite a big order for you. Let me get that prepared for you.

Daba heads to kitchen to place the order. Grabs the beers on his way back to the table.

Here you go. Can I get anything else for you?

Coming from behind his desk.

Well that was close. It is going to take a while to clean all of this up.

Daba looking around at all the blood and dead bodies.

A lot of good people were here who are not around anymore. Hopefully their daughters and sons come by. Well there's no time like the present to start cleaning up.

Daba starts to move the bodies and cleaning up the blood. He replaces the windows and the sign which had a few bullet holes in it.

Well that'll do for now. Lets get this new sign up.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS

HALF OFF ALL PIZZAS

After relocating to Detroit Chade decided it was time to fine a new favourite hangout, he'd spent some time wondering down town and came across a place called Pizza Capital. It was a simple but cosy place and Chade was even more encouraged by the fact that the owner was giving out half price pizzas. What's not to love about that?

No doubt JamieOliver would turn his nose up at this slice of Hawaiian but Chade devoured it and had another.

"A lovely place you have here Daba, how long has it been up and running for?"

Report Post Tip

After cleaning up the glass and replacing the windows, Daba heads to kitchen to start up the oven.  He puts out several of everyone's favorite pizza available by the slice.

Daba smiles as his new family member comes in.

Hey how are you doing?

Glad you like the pizza.

My great greaet great grand daddy started this a while ago, but I reopened it when I came to these shores. I have tried to update it a little.

Report Post Tip

Chade had just visited the funeral of the dearly departed Daba. On his way home he past the Pizzeria and noticed it was still open, a lot of the folks from the funeral were in attendance and Chade went in. He bought a slice, Hawaiian as always, and raised it in memory of Daba. And so all of those who were also in the Pizzeria raised their slices also and ate in silence, mourning the loss of our great chef.

Pizza-guy walks by his dad's old shop. Pizza thought how his dad had started to go a little crazy and decided to name his only son Pizza-Guy or Pizza for short. Pizza is still shaking from the shock of the morning. Men had barged into the house in the early morning and shot his dad while he slept. Never giving Daba a chance to defend himself. The killer did not leave a card but Pizza was hopeful the powers that be in this thing of ours would bring the killer to justice, but if not then let them live in fear of being discovered. A life living in fear is no better than death.

After putting all that behind him, Pizza opened his hand and looked at what he brought from home. The keys to his dad's shop. It was time to reopen the place. His dad would have wanted that. Pizza turned to address the crowd that had formed especially some of his regulars such as Chade.

Hello all. My father spoke highly of all of you. It is troubling that he is not here with us today but such is life in this thing of ours. I am not one to hold grudges. I make pizzas dammit! And off of that I have a new sign to put up:

Pizza Capital Reopening

Under New and better looking management

Now like my mother always told me: Shut up and eat!

And with that Pizza heads into his shop with a smile on his face knowing that everything will be all good.

Arya Stark's father, a cat with no name but a recognizable title, had told Arya everything about this place. Well, mostly the beer, but that was kinda the only thing that mattered to her old one. And that little Snowball of his. They had come along very well.

Arya had never heard the word "pizza" before, but whatever it was, it looked good. She walked inside and waited in line for it to be her turn.

"Can I have a medium ... p-pizza?" she said with an unsteady voice, not exactly sure how it was pronounced. "And I want... no, wait, just give me four toppings of your choice. You must know what fits well on this... thing."

All of a sudden, she was reminded of her friend, Hot Pie, who had once made her a delicious piece of bread. She hoped it would be something along those lines, and smiled at the thought of him. It had been a while since she saw him the last time. He could be dead. It was a terrible thought.

Pizza-guy smiled as his first customer came in. He felt some connection to the new person as if they had met in a previous life, but Pizza wasn't want to think of the spirit world there is too much living to do in the present.

Pizza could not stop himself from smirking just a little from the customers slight struggle with saying the greatest word in the world.

Hi there. Thanks for coming in. How are you doing?

Hmm let me think what would be good. How about pepperoni, black olives, bacon, and peppers for you?

Do you want something to drink? A beer?

Report Post Tip

Arya Stark noticed his smirking and was embarassed, but not ashamed. She would've been ashamed if this... Pizza-guy was a complete stranger, but a part of her told her that they'd met before. How, when and where she wasn't sure of.

"Great! As long as there are no oysters. You get tired of those pretty easily," she said and recalled herself wandering in the middle of the streets with her handcart yelling "Oysters, clams and cockles!" It was a tiring way to earn money, and she always managed to crack up her voice just a couple of hours later.

Hearing his next question, she began wondering. Arya had tasted beer a loooooong time ago, but she didn't remember what it was like. Also... her father had only spoken good things about it. Why not try again?

"Yeah, just a beer, please. That'd be good. Thanks!"

Her beer was ready a couple of seconds later, and she went about to find a place to sit. A chair that had not been cleaned properly from all the cat hair caught her attention, and she sat down at the table, waiting for the pizza. The beer was incredibly good though - much better than she remembered it, and before her pizza had come out of the oven, half of the beer was gone.

Report Post Tip

Coming back from running some crimes and now that Pizza had a solid income coming in, he could return to his front of the pizza shop. It wasn't really a front, he liked making pizza and got to meet a large amount of interesting people.

Seeing that -AryaStark- had finished most of her beer before the pizza had gotten there.

Haha glad to see you liked the beer. Yea sorry about the cat hair. It just won't come out. My father's journal mention this silly little cat that would come in all the time and demand beer.

Here's your pizza.

Pizza-guy hands over the pizza.

Hope you like it!

Do you have any pets?

Goon walks in after a long day of busting skulls for the family.  Goon loves pizza.  He'd eat it every day for every meal if he could.  Goon slides himself into a booth and looks over the menu before reverting to his usual.  He nods and the waiter comes over.

"Sir - I'd like 3 slices of pizza with every kind of meat you have on them."

Goon smiles and rubs his belly as he picks up a newspaper to look over the news of the day.

As it approached the late evening in Detroit, Tyki was on his final deal of the day and passed by 'Pizza Capital'. He was a fan of pizza so decided to try out this venue and see what it was like. Finishing off his cigarette, he dropped the stub to the floor and stepped on it to put it out before removing his hat which had protected his head from the downpour of rain.

As soon as he entered, he saw a man sitting at a table with 3 slices of pizza and a ridiculous amount of meat on top of them. Tyki knew that there was only one guy who ordered pizza like this, his good friend Goon.

He approached the table and gently whispered to Goon; "Is this seat taken friend?"

As Goon turned around mid-bite, cheese hanging from his mouth, Tyki couldn't help but laugh.

"Long time no see Goon, I see your diet is impressive as always!"

Daba is finally able to get back to his shop after spending time in the old country taking care of some business. It costed him an arm and a leg but he was glad to be back.

Oh my this place is popping, I should leave more often.

Good to see you Goon. Let me get that order for you.

Daba heads back to the kitchen and starts up the order and brings it out to Goon when it was done.

Here you go. Hope you like it.

How have you been?

Daba turns to Tyki_Mikk.

Hey how are you doing? I hope you didn't rained on too much.

Can I get anything for you? A beer or pizza?

Report Post Tip

Tyki_Mikk tips his hat to Pizza-guy.

"Greetings Sir, I will be joining my acquaintance over here. So could I order a few beers and I'll have a pizza with Pepperoni, Salami, Grilled Chicken, Mushrooms, Red Onion and Sweetcorn please. I must say, its a fantastic place you have here. Thank you for the warm welcome. The rain was pretty bad outside but seeing friendly faces makes up for the bad weather."

"Would I be able to hang my coat somewhere?"

Tyki sits down at the table and begins to converse with Goon as he awaits his order.

Report Post Tip

Pizza-guy takes the order of Tyki_Mikk.

Sorry for the slight delay its has been a crazy day. Let me get that for you.

Pizza-guy heads back to kitchen to get the pizza started. He heads back to table and grabs a beer on the way.

Here is your beer and let me take that coat for you. I'll put on the coat wrack by the door.

Pizza-guy takes the coat and heads back to the kitchen to pickup the pizza.

Here is your pizza. I hope you like it. Anything else I can get for you?

Goon sits down and voraciously plows through his pizza.  Rough and tough guys like him lovethe simple basics in life.  Beer, pizza and the like.  Goon finishes his first slice and wipes the sauce from the corners of his mouth with the back of his hand.  Goon nods to the bench where tyki_mikk can set his coat down.

"Little warm for that don't you think??"  Goon laughs so loud that the fart he rips is just faintly heard.  He hopes no one smells it.

"How's things in LA going for you sir?  I'm glad you can make it over to Detroit for a bit.  You always seem to liven things up.  So what's the good word sir?"  Goon raises his hand up for Pizza-guy as he starts on the second slice of pizza.

"Good work on the business, man.  The pizza's awesome.  What do we got for entertainment here?"

Matt had just arrived to Detroit, regretting the decision he had made earlier today when he declined to purchase food during the flight from Los Angeles, had he known that the flight would be that long it would've been a different story but due to it being the first time flying from LA to Detroit he couldn't have known.

He was strolling down the street and he notices a sign saying "Pizza Palace". "Haven't had pizza in a long time" Matt thought to himself as he started walking towards the shop.

A couple of minutes later Matt is standing outside the Pizza Palace and looking in to see if the place is crowded or not, Matt preferred places with less people as it allowed him to relax and dine in peace.

"Huh, it actually looks quite inviting" he mumbled to himself before he slowly pushed the door open.

He enters the venue and waits for someone to receive him as he starts to remove the coat he was wearing.
