| The Funeral Speech | Started by: Poopship_Destroyer on May 30, '16 04:25 |

We were all devastated when our friend was killed. We all knew why he had to go, but we didn't talk about it. He had made a mistake and he had to die for it. At least it was handled within his own family by his own Godfather. I sat next to his mother at the funeral. The Godfather was going to speak first. I reached over to my friend's mother and placed my hand on hers, offering her a comforting smile. She smiled back sadly as we waited for The Godfather to deliver his eulogy. Finally The Godfather stood up to speak. The room hushed, waiting for his heartfelt sentiments. The Godfather cleared his throat and spoke to the friends and family of the deceased in attendance. "NO WITNESS STATEMENT NECESSARY" And then he sat down. We all looked at each other confused. His mother looked up at me as if to ask "Is that it???" I shrugged. It was a lousy speech and probably the worst funeral I've ever attended. The End. |

Hattori was on his way to a local eatery that served kalamari. Whereupon he hears from the open doors of a funeral the words being shouted NO WITNESS STATEMENT NECESSARY. So, being the curious Ninja he sneaks in and sits in the back. All he hears are an occasional cough and notices the constant staring at the casket that was inevitably closed. Scoffing Hanzo rises and heads to the casket. The stares reach him as his sword scabbard is show from underneath his cloak. He falls to the ground once he reaches the base of the hull. He kneels on both knees bowing low to the ground. He begins a slow prayer for the unknown departed and rises slowly. He bows to each direction and bows low to the casket once more. He leaves the deathly quiet funeral in disgust at the affairs of the ones in participation. |

From the row behind, Christian smirked at the comments and the bewildered look the grieving mother have those around her. Considering that they were laying a man or woman to rest, there was probably no more of an efficient way to go about it. |
