Become a follower who is only with him because they are scared to stand alone or do be your own person and do your own thing? If this man said fight but has no reason it would not matter as at the end of the day there would be no one to ask questions.

See the fucking pattern? They all held power at one point and usually for quite a bit of time..... but then something went tits up and someone else came along and had the power.

As much as I'd love to believe this, it simply isn't the case. I'm not (or should I say Deimne isn't) strong because of the number of kills I have or the number of bodyguards I own, it's because I have a city of incredibly loyal, intelligent, dedicated and hard working people around me. Take those away, I'd fall easily. With them there to support and help me, I'll continue to do just fine. While it requires good judgement and skills to get to a position of power and try and stay there, one person acting on their own just couldn't hope to achieve and sustain it.

While in theory this is true, a person in a position of power can in theory rip up the rule book and write their own... it simply wouldn't work. One of the reasons I have people who are happy/willing to follow me and work with me is because they know that I wouldn't say fight without damn good reasons. Ask anyone who knows me, I probably demand more reason for conflict than most would/do. In my time as a GF here on MR, I have stopped or prevented FAR more wars (by pointing out the lack of justification) than I have been part of. I'm not saying this is a requirement, if anything it's potentially a weakness as it leads to me ending up being on the receiving end of a first wave attack more often than not, but it's simply who I am and the way I make my decisions.

I'd love to hear one single example of me having bullied anyone? You won't be able to, as I simply don't. Again, if I did, it's 100% in keeping with roleplaying the godfather of a city... so technically I'm wrong by not doing it... but I play the game in order to have fun and enjoy myself. I'd rather have a great laugh and end up dead (though I'd always hope not to), than bully my way to power and a position where I can't be touched. What possible enjoyment would I get from playing a game where nobody, which would include myself, enjoyed playing that game? I'd much rather increase the risks to my chances of survival, by trusting my judgement and friendships, than bully my way to safety. If I was of a different mindset, continually bullying or killing others to retain control and 'keep me safe', it would end up turning those around who are friends into enemies and those people who do trust me into people that don't. It would, ultimately, make my position far more difficult and would eventually lead to my downfall. A false sense of security shouldn't be viewed as being secure.


So, in brief, to summarise the situation... who the hell let you into my world and what are you doing in my playground?!?!

Deimne isn't a bully, he's really just a big softie. He cares too much about what his friends and slaves... erm i mean followers think. Having known the man behind the Godfather for numerous years I don't think I've ever known him to just attack someone for no viable reason.

In short, if you died at the hands of Deimne or one of his followers then its because a) you were a tit or B) Your CL was a tit or c) One of his followers didn't like you and used your CL being a tit as an excuse to wack you when he was busy taking care of your boss.

I always knew in my heart of hearts that Deimne was a breast man.
