A white dove flies overhead on an early, chilly afternoon. As it
soars to the ground and lands, it stands motionless in the middle of
the street. With the recent commotion of rebuilding the eight cities
after the war, the beautiful bird goes unnoticed to almost everyone,
one of the exceptions being Aeolus.  As the mobster stands on the
soapbox, shortly after asking for the attention of those around him,
Aeolus watches the bird closely.  A crowd begins to form and it becomes
difficult to see over the many heads that now surround him.  Unable to
decide what to make of the dove, he clears his throat and begins to
speak. 

Greetings my fellow mafioso. My name is Aeolus.

He tips his head to the crowd and continues.

Like so many have said before me, the loss of life from this past
war has been tragic. We all have experiences with this and the feeling
is universal, regardless of where your home resides. It hurts. Losing
those who are close to you always brings pain.  With that being
said, may the souls of the fallen rest in peace. 

Aeolus pauses for a minute, taking a moment of silence to
remember the lives of those who passed.  He takes a deep breath and
speaks again.

No matter our differences, we all must learn to cope with death.
It's a part of life and where there is life, there is also death. We
must grow from these experiences to become strong mafioso.  In my case,
for example, the great Giovanni_Bontade has passed and has left an
impact on Las Vegas that will last for ages.  It is truly unfortunate
to see him go, and we mourn for his loss.  However, we must look to the
future, as we have done in the City of Sin.

By replacing Giovanni_Bontade as the newest captain in Vegas, I
would like to take this opportunity to introduce my crew, known as Le Pallottole Del Vento. 
This would not have been made possible without the great leadership of
Cryptic and Lucretia_Borgia, as well as the hospitality of Deimne and
Sibilo.  I would like to thank you all for my success.  I look forward
to working in Vegas as a captain and taking part in the city's growth.

Aeolus takes a quick glance over the crowd. Off to the distance,
near the corner of the closest building, he sees a figure that looks
oddly familiar.  As he steps down, he has a word with Goliath, his LHM.

Goliath, follow me. You won't believe what I just saw. I could have sworn that I just saw Giovanni_Bontade over there.

The two walk over to the corner and take a right into an alley.
Standing as still as it did when it first landed was the dove that
Aeolus saw earlier.  The graceful bird looks towards the direction of
the two mobsters.  It blinks twice, spreads its wings, and takes
flight. As they watch as the bird flies away, Aeolus catches a feather
that falls from the dove above.  Aeolus smiles.

May the wind move you, my friend, to peace.

Confused, Goliath speaks.

Boss, I think you're losing it. Giovanni_Bontade looks nothing like a bird.

The two laugh hysterically as they walk back into the streets.

After walking back to the streets with Aeolus Goliath smiles.  He looks at Aeolus and shakes his hand.  As Aeolus shakes Goliaths hand Goliath takes the other hand and pats Aeolus on the back.  He looks Aeolus in the eyes and then begins to speak.

Aeolus, my dear friend you are more deserving of this than anyone that I can think of.  I will gladly follow you into an abyss and back.  I have no doubt that you will be a great leader, and I can not wait to work with you. 

Goliath smiles and then walks away to listen to everyone else come out and congratulate him.

Pollit_ over hears this man speaking of his  notoriously hard to join crew. After an extensive background check Pollit_ is accepted into Le Pallottole Del Vento. When he is own his way home the same bird seen  by his boss flies into his automobile leading him to crash into a tree.

Walks out of the HQ and into the street after hearing a little crowd noise. He listens closely to his his bosses speech and watches the dove fly away

It is indeed an honor and a privilege to To be serving with you Aeolus.

Looks around at the gathered crowd and walks back into the HQ.

Hickory lets one tear fall as she listens to Aeolus speak.  Her family has had a long history with the great mafioso and she is so proud to see him attain such glory, even if it is in the wake of sadness.  She knows Las Vegas is the better for having him, and her heart breaks that she cannot celebrate this joy fully with those who reside there.  She loves them, as they loved her mother, and she takes heart that they recognize the gem they have in the Wind Keeper.

She walks over to the man, silently wraps her arms around him, and kisses her cheek.  She doesn't say anything, these two families are beyond words now after so long together, she simply wears her heart on her sleeve for him.  Always there is love.
