If you don't have any problems connecting to IRC from work or school and don't care about SSL encryption for your IRC than skip along, nothing to see here.

Our IRC is now available on bunch of new ports and supports SSL on specific ports.

Normal Ports: 8067, 6669, 6668, 6667, 6666, 6665, 6664, 6663, 6662, 6661, 6660
SSL Only Ports: 6900, 7001, 8585, 7138, 7129, 7128, 6697, 6696

If your school or work disconnects or does not allow you to connect to IRC, try connecting to on the of the SSL Only ports. This will encrypt the connection which will stop their filters from knowing you are on IRC.
