I'd like a button to hide people who are in admin jail. I just don't want to see what that loser did for 84 days.

The only issue I see with this is when I see people like the asshole who was doing credit card fraud and trying to scam people by faking cancer...that piece of shit deserves to have his name shamed every time someone goes to the jail. 

If part of the reason for the Admin Jail is to ensure everyone is reminded of their shame as mentioned above, then perhaps make it a collapsible tab as mentioned above, but so it only hides the huge reasoning, but still displays the names?

Failing this, I'd definitely love to be able to collapse it.

I disagree. People need to know what people are doing to land themselves in admin jail. If you can just click hide and it's gone forever, it kinda loses it's purpose.

It really isn't anything like that. It's more like driving past a tree every day, and one day deciding you don't like the tree so you demand the council build a wall round it because you're tired of looking at it.

I mean really, it's a bit of text at the bottom of the jail page. Does it really bother people that much that it's there? Nobody is forcing you to read it, or throwing it at you every time you open your door to leave your house.

To be honest, I don't really see how this bothers anybody. You don't have to look at it if you don't want to and it doesn't make it such a big bother to me personally because I normally just skim through the reasons they even get admin jailed in the first place, don't make it hard on yourself by staring at something you're gonna eventually complain about later when it's something you can just avoid.

Make it able to be collapsed, fair straw.

I think since this dudes crimes are so bad, he should be out right banned not just admin jailed. It looks like he's using multiple i.p addresses to keep making accounts from. Banning him as and when he pops up should be the punishment, not admin jails.

removing the dude from the admin jails and banning the i.p should be enough, then people won't have to see shit about how he's such a d-bag he fakes having cancer *smh*

Maybe just have name and remaining sentence. I hate seeing the same thing all the time as much as everyone else.

I use the jail as my "resting" screen. I go there when I'm not actively doing anything. Like most people, when I see words, my eyes and brain try to read those words. I'd rather not have to look at this loser for 80 days. I just want the OPTION to hide it or collapse it. If you like seeing it, don't hide it. But for those of us who will see his name about 600 times in those 80 days, it gets old.

For those of you saying he needs to be shamed, keep in mind that every new person would have to be hidden or collapsed individually, thus ensuring that every person who is in admin jail is noticed by every person who visits the jail screen. Isn't that mission accomplished?

And for the idea of a tree on the way to work, your simile is a bit off. It's like a giant billboard that is right next to the road, and it has pictures of what various STDs do to your junk on it taking up half your windshield as you drive by. It's not a pretty tree that I'm tired of looking at. It's a piece of shit loser who has done horrible things, and I'd rather not have that negativity in my life.
