I am going to keep this one a little shorter than most.  My city has taken an extremely large blow and my time  will be better spent tending to my fences.  I do believe an explination is in order for the events that have occured tonight.

There is never anything enjoyable about having to murder people who have worked for you.  I can say that many of my interactions with the fallen few were enjoyable to say the very least.  This was never meant to be a personal judgement, but a tactical decision to preserve myself and the others who work for me.  

Back when Godfather SpikeS was around he warned me of "cluster" that was out for vengence and were dead set on fulfilling a grudge against him.  I dared not believe him and it caused much strain on our personal friendship, which eventually blew up into the massive war between myself and the late Godfather and his affiliates.  You have to imagine my surprise when Don Shogun revealed to me weeks after that there was indeed a "group" that had been formed with a sinister plot.  They even had a cute name for it.  SpikeS had been right all along about them.  

Call it paranoia, call it preservation.  I felt that something had to be done.  When a group forms under your leadership for any reason other than to serve their leader, you must act.  It was clear that from the onset these individuals had ulteriar motives.  Even though they swore I had earned their loyalty, I could never me 100% sure of that fact.  I also didn't know when the group would feel as if they had outgrown me and could cast me aside.  These were powerful men with much influence.  They could have done serious damage as a tactical unit had they chosen to.  In the best interest of me and mine I had to make the difficult decision to cast that group aside, even if they hadn't planned to come after anyone yet.

It is a harsh world we live in and it's even harder to stay alive these days.  My bloodline has learned that one slip up, one ounce of misplaced trust, will cost you everything.  I am determined to not make the same mistakes of my father before me.

As part of this "group" I can assure you Spacepole, nor any of his descendants, relatives, or friends were ever a part of it. Slander him if you must, but you'll only be spouting more lies and proving even more just how ridiculous and paranoid you truly are. Insta was 100% innocent, and was nothing but loyal to you, just as my father was. Ask Mike and Toaly, they will both tell you Spacepole wasn't a part of it. They'll probably also tell you I'm a massive cunt for trusting you, which I deserve.

On to the actual speech.

You're wrong, on so many levels, and you've sealed your legacy with this removal. No longer will you be remembered as the one who saved this land from the clutches of a tyrant. You are nothing but SpikeS' greatest creation. A product of tutoring in paranoia and micromanaging over many months. You are the Stalin to his Lenin. You've taken what he started and doubled it. 

I do admit, there was at one point a group with the aim of removing SpikeS from power. That was our single goal, our one purpose. Not to take over the game, kill tons of people, or get back at anyone else. When you sanctioned the removal of your friend, our goal ceased to exist. Instead we had a new goal, one we were all 100% behind: protect you, and Chicago. 

Here is a transcript taken from my late father's journals if you don't believe me.

Those transcripts date May 21st, the day of SpikeS' removal. 

We were with you, 100% til the death. We would never have touched a hair on your head. We had no ulterior motives other than extending your reign.

Just as Lily was loyal to you. But shots were coming, out of Detroit, (so you thought at least) shots at your coat-tail riding mini me Pine. You used it as an excuse to decimate the entire city. All because you couldn't find a couple of witness statements. Detroit's removal was out of pure self preservation and paranoia. Just as this removal was. Which, really, is all fine and dandy. This is the mafia, death is part of our world. Those who sit on their hands usually end up dead. But there is no need to come out here and spout lies and half truths in the attempt to drag people through the mud. 

Our group ceased to truly exist when SpikeS fell. After that, our loyalty was only to YOU. It would never have wavered, and that is saying something, because we were a group of people who don't just hand out loyalty. We give it to those who earn it - which you did. And now you've shat all over it.

I speak now to the men and women my late father worked with - the other leaders of Chicago, Detroit, and especially LA, who's days are surely numbered. Your time is coming, some sooner rather than later. Whenever you become a true threat you will be cut down in cold blood, just as so many others have. Taegan, Niflheim, Ronin, SpikeS, Lily, and now myself, just as my grandfather. Make your move if you have the sacks for it, because they surely will not care about where your loyalties may lie.

And lastly, directly to Curiosity and Marius, who have recently been given families in Chicago after the takedown. His father killed your ancestors, just as he killed mine. He then played nice with my father and gave him opportunity, just as he has to you. You are not special to him, do not place your trust in someone who has already betrayed your line, as I did. You'll get the same thing your ancestors did.

On the bright side...at least Shogun didn't die in a bus crash or a massive spanish flu outbreak.

I'm just a Shepherd turned future Gangster(I.e.: a lowly Civilian) but I would like to add my voice to the praise that DoctorBoom should get for the decision he had to make today. It's earned some respect in my book. Not that you need that from someone of my station but I think this whole situation has made me look upon Chicago in a whole new light. 

His ancestor also gave yours a chance, even a city, and if I remember the tale correctly...your ancestor shot his. In this line of work many people die and as my ancestor learned and passed down to me, there are very few people you can trust around here. You're only speaking to the choir when talking about betrayal. If everyone stayed as super buddy friends well...no one would be in this line of work. There would be no reason to train a gun and no reason for this life, this world, to exist. No point to make money, no circle of life.

Yet, at the same time if we always chose to never trust and work for our ancestors next kin then we might as well shut down everything. Close all the stores, close up shop, and go home. 

Am I saying it is okay to kill someone who trusted you? No, but people around here are so quick to change their opinions of you if you do one thing they don't like. That goes for even those you once trusted. 

I set up not for glory, not to rule these lands, I accepted this position not because I'm gonna be the next to go - time to start training to kill him! No, I took this spot because I want to give those who join my ranks a fun family that focuses on family.  You may fire back with "well if he kills you then you didn't protect your family!". From what I read of my ancestors notes, it is not how many people you kill to protect your family that makes them enjoy being with you, it is how you make it feel like home. So spare me the "YOU'RE NEXT!" talk. Everyone dies one day, I am going to make the time here with my family as great as it can be without constantly looking over my back. If that makes me a bad leader then so be it. Yet, at least our time will be far more enjoyable than being paranoid every moment.

I'll be brief as I'm not long for this world. 

-Goku I think you are wrong for saying that DoctorBoom is a product of SpikeS,  more a case SpikeS carried on what DoctorBoom's father started and DoctorBoom just picked up where is father left off.

On the subject of the group inside Chicago that was removed, it doesn't matter that their intentions changed after the death of SpikeS as their intentions could just as easily change again and decide to remove DoctorBoom, in his position I'd do the same. 

Ok, so, im glad its been cleared up that my father had no affiliation to this group. MrBoom had asked my father days before and at that point he told him he had no part in it and thats the first he'd heard of such group. There is an incredible amount or irony right now, as mt father did sit in a group, which he left a few days before his death, why is that important, well let me continue. 

There is another group that runs around here, they call themselves MdM, within that group sit most of North Sides upper structure. Does this qualify enough as a reason to seal their fate too?  The sole motto of that group is family first, so their loyalty lies with each other before anyone else, above the good doctor too. The world of mafia gets discussed there on a daily basis, stuff that if got out, would have destroyed NS months ago. Is there any real difference here? 

my father left that group because NS was supposed to move to ny and they decided that dexter would take GFC, a move that both my father and vlad didnt think was right. He hadnt done enough to deserve it, hell he doesnt even have the max amount of bgs that one can carry, nor does he have enough notches on his gun. He had been IA a lot of his time here. So my father and vlad spoke at length, they both agreed that  they would speak to doctorboom and see if they could stay in ch. Logs where passed to vlad because he was away on business.

when the MdM group found out, it caused issues, so my dad graciously left, he parted ways and thanked them for their service, obviously this didnt go down too well. i have to give Dexter kudos here, he has played a blinder and jumped on an opportunity as he must have known that my fathers name has been passed around in regards to the other group (which has since been proven that he wasnt) and dexter jumped into Drbooms ears;

i have all the  transcripts above to prove all of this.

The irony gets even better, i also have logs of Mr boom saying he doesnt think dexter has done enough and

"tbh man i can just club dexter and be done and just set up halfpenny"

i hope this proves where loyalty does or in fact doesnt lay with.

again my father was good enough to leave me logs of this convo too. 

so, i want to clarify, the reason for him being killed wasnt because he was apart of the group he was accused of, it was because he left another group of the same stature, shocking irony. but well played mr boom and dexter, nailed it. 

What I find so amusing is that the descendant of dear Shogun seems to be doing exactly what he was lecturing others about doing after SpikeS was killed. So I'll turn his very own words back on his son "If you were looking for sunshine and daisies and everyone to hold hands while singing, you should have joined the local daycare, not the mafia."

When my mother was killed I was told over and over again that there are no friends in the Mafia. So here we are again, a perfect example of the fact that there are no friends in the mafia. Your fathers may have been loyal to DoctorBoom for now, after he helped them to achieve their ultimate goal. But SpikeS was loyal to DoctorBoom. So it was ok for him to betray SpikeS but not ok for him to betray you for essentially the same reason? This world is all about self preservation, as proven by the likes of MissNikki, Lily, and countless others. There is no real loyalty outside of your family and there are no real friends. 

Now I'm sure many people will run out saying "loyalty to family" or "loyalty to your city" and all that is fine and dandy. I love Los Angeles like my mother loved New York. I will fight for Los Angeles and would happily die for it. But I will no longer be surprised when people turn their backs on their "friends" to save their own skins. 

So really, -Goku you shouldn't be surprised either. Your father is the one that said over and over again that what DoctorBoom did to SpikeS was justified. To turn that around now and try to claim that DoctorBoom wasn't justified to take out a known power group who could have easily turned on him at any moment would just be silly. Maybe it wouldn't have happened this week or this month, but your father himself said "...obviously we all want power. We all want to be the guy on top, calling the shots." Someone along the line would've changed gears - why wait for that to happen instead of just striking first?

Blows my mind that anyone trusted JTG in the first place. He's killed his own for years. Finding out that a few of them were hosting tea parties is all it takes in his mind to execute them.

I'm glad Our Thing is in such capable hands. Maybe someday leaders will have a shred of common sense and not trust the guy who's been plowing under friends and foes alike for years.

Sometimes it just has to be a limit, or a line which can not be crossed.

He brought forth the best evidence that A) the group existed, B) That their original intention was not just only to attack SpikeS but everyone, and C) that there was mixed feelings within said group about playing nice with me.  

I honestly couldn't have proved anything with those transcripts.  With the names redacted I can only assume that it was one of my former crew leaders that was angry about not being able to kill everyone.

My father was in a group, sure. It had a name, sure. But the original intention was always removing the cock handler, SpikeS. Why? Because he killed off my father and a few of my father's friends for no reason other than paranoia. There was no 'group' then. SpikeS didn't allow my bloodline to even step into this world. The original intention was always removing that one, single man. Oh yeah and once you orchestrated the removal of him, and used my father's gun, the group was dead. It was over. Mission accomplished. Done. Finished. The group, as you could see in the logs, decided to go straight. So I am extremely confused why anyone would listen to you as you try to spin this. 

About my father, LucaRossi. I believe he was the hardest worker in your city. I think RobOakheart now has full protection because my father gave him around 140 million dollars. I believe your newest auth Curiosity has a huge head start on her own set of protection. Also the countless times anyone needed money during the takedowns, my father was there. If my father wanted you gone, I don't believe he'd be so generous. I don't believe he'd be so willing to help you continue to build the way you did. There were NO mixed feelings within the group. 

I can't believe you'd try to spin this even after the fact you've removed people. All these logs that Goku- showed proves this is absolute crap.
