When in jail from the outside looking in, there needs to be some sort of identity measure put into place.  It would be a nice gesture to implement a purchase upgrade in the fort area to as such.  What the result would be is a one, two, or three character figure could be selected by the head of the crew that could be a wingding, number, letter, etc. that would go before the crew member's name on the prison board.  This would help identify our fellow crew members in a long lock up list.

Add your family to your contacts with a symbol or colour. That will show up on the jail page. Problem solved.

You have the ability to add people to Contact groups. I'd strongly suggest using them to your advantage so you have everybody in their own group, whether it be sorted by Crew, District, City - or whatever suits you best. It definitely helps when it comes to spotting certain people in locals, jail, etc.

I think we already have the ability to do what you're suggesting. It's just not enforced that Crews are required to choose a "Gangsign" other than their name.

i thank you for that information that i did not know.  your suggestion would work but my issue is that members come and go and it would be a bit for some but not all to have to monitor the roster of the crew versus the contact list.

You're very correct, it is tiresome constantly updating your Contact groups when wars happen, people switch sides, etc etc. 

However, it does put you at an advantage, so I can appreciate it taking a bit of effort. You get nothing for free in this world. :-)

I actually just went in and did this for my crew and just wanted to add that there is actually a button for "add crew" that will add all of your crew mates automatically. If you want to make sure you always have the most updated list it is pretty easy to go in weekly or so and remove all then add crew to that list.
