Damut wiped his brow of the sweat that had been accumulating. Damn it was hot. He adjusted the .308 that was held loosely against his shoulder, and looked up to the blazing sun. Not a good day for this shit. Not a good day at all. For ten days straight he had been filling contracts with the specification of 'make it quiet'. That is why he was currently nestled in between two bush thickets on top of a ridge, on the outskirts of Las Vegas. His current mark was a two bit gangster who had stepped on someones feet while trying to become a three bit gangster. He didn't know the name of the man. And he really didn't care. A mark was a mark, and his current mark should be on his way. He was under the presumption that there would be a large drug deal going down that would change his life for the better. Damut looked down his scope at the old ford that was sitting on the side of the road. It was a stolen clunker he had placed there earlier that morning for appearances. It would be an easy shot, no more than two hundred and fifty yards. He once again wiped his brow. Damut was whistling to himself when he saw the Cadillac coming in over the hill. He watched as his mark pulled up with his two associates. The mark exited the vehicle and looked around. Damut squeezed the trigger, worked the bolt, squeezed again, and repeated once more in the time frame of 4 seconds. He wondered if the mark even realized what was happening before his bullet tore through his chest, puncturing his heart. He knew the gaurds did, not that it did them any good. He lazily hovered his scope over the now dead men for ten or so minutes, making sure they were indeed dead. He then stood, lit a cigarette, and started towards his motorcycle.
Once Damut got back into town and had parked his bike on the curb, he got off and started walking to his favorite speak easy for a beer. All work and no play was definitely making his a dull boy.

Entering the Speak Easy he could see there was a few fellas he knew along with some pretty fancy dames. His favorite waitress came toward him NayNay was her name, she spoke, "the usual honey?", Damut nodded and headed to his usual table. NayNay brought Damut his favorite draft and told him, " If there's anything else you need just let me know", walking away NayNay smiled and gave Damut a quick wink.
